Alright all you new Halo players wanna play lan but don't have anyone to play with? This is a guide on how to choose the people you play with.In order to have a fun Halo party you need people.

Being a bungie.netter, you probably know someone in your area who plays Halo. So invite em over and hook em up. After that first party, other parties will be easier to decide who to invite. Try to play with people your skill or better. Don’t invite people who suck over, so you can whoop up on em. I remember the first time I played Halo my friends invited me over and they slaughtered me. I hardly knew the controls. I hated Halo because I just couldn’t keep up with everyone.
Don’t invite people who make Halo less fun for anyone there. (Whiners, Braggers, people who don’t try to win, and kill themselves when they start to lose, quitters etc.) You’ll know whose these people are after the first Halo party.

For the people who want to get invited back to a Halo party here is some good first impressions.
1. Be nice to everyone there, more than likely if you yell “You took my kill!” At the people there, they’re not gonna want you back.
2. Tell your teammates good job if they make a kill. Your score matters much less than a team’s score.
3. If someone there who is new and isn’t very good look out for them. If they’re on your team help them out. If they’re on the other team don’t just kill them the whole time because they’re an easy kill. Show em the ropes.
4. Be a graceful winner and loser. Don’t rub it in their face you killed them 50 to 25. And if you lost don’t say “Oh that was cheap the game glitched up.” It probably didn’t you just screwed up accept it.
5. Use your manners. You can have fun and still act civilized.

In order to have all the fun plan things out ahead of time. If you slop everything together things get forgotten. Plan ahead of who’s bringing what. Make sure you have a people count of who’s going to be there and if there’s going to be enough controllers. Double check with forgetful people. If something is forgotten don’t blame it on one person, because you might not have told them to bring something.

Have everyone chip in to buy food. All good Halo parties have food.
That’s all for now.
