Don't be stupid like I was! Check to see what that Forum Ninja is saying to you!

I cannot provide a link but, Bungie did confirm in an older update that the ONI Sword Base Target Designator Trick is a completely 100% legitimate method of gaining credits.

However, Bungie did say that if you do the trick, they'll love you less.

So, it's OK to do, Bungie just doesn't like people to do it.

No you can't. But once you do it a lot and get a lot of commendations, you barely get any credits. It's only good for a while. And pretty much everyone has done it.

No it's not, but it's considered a "cheap method" but ironically, I'm doing it as I write this.

This is Halo: Reach related. So next time, use the Halo: Reach forums, please?

OT: No. Performing the TD stradegy to cR farm will not get you banned. I maxed out both of the Commendations earned from doing it and have yet to recieve a cR ban for it. The same goes for many other people.

I have heard that it is a Halo reach error and that you will not get banned fot it. However there is now a cap limit to show how much credits you can get on that level with the laser designater so when you use it too much your credits dont go up anymore. Plus the more you use it the less points you get.
