Every time I try playing online, it tells me it can't connect with the Halo Reach server. I'm not sure when this started happening, but I was able to play online fine a few weeks ago. My gamertag in the active roster has the default black background, no symbol, and no rank (or recruit). I can't connect to my service record either. However, when I bring the start menu up, I can see my rank, symbol, rank progress, and my character model appears normal from there.
I have forwarded my ports (did so a long time ago, worked fine) and even tried putting my Xbox in the DMZ. I have a static IP for my Xbox as well. When I go to the network menu from the start menu, it says my NAT is open in a green box, but my upstream bandwidth and packet loss are both greyed out and 'undetected'.
Every single other game I have tried works fine, just as before. I have tried Gears of War 3, Black Ops, Forza 4, etc. All online stuff appears as normal from the dashboard. I can still do party chat, download DLC, demos, etc. It is only Halo Reach that does not work.
I put my profile on my thumb drive and played over at a friend's house. There I can get on Halo Reach just fine, everything appears as normal.
I've ruled out everything I can think of, it's not my ports, it's not my profile, and it's not my Xbox.
Has anyone had this issue before? It's incredibly annoying.
