Save a tree, burn a hippie.

Every time I try playing online, it tells me it can't connect with the Halo Reach server. I'm not sure when this started happening, but I was able to play online fine a few weeks ago. My gamertag in the active roster has the default black background, no symbol, and no rank (or recruit). I can't connect to my service record either. However, when I bring the start menu up, I can see my rank, symbol, rank progress, and my character model appears normal from there.

I have forwarded my ports (did so a long time ago, worked fine) and even tried putting my Xbox in the DMZ. I have a static IP for my Xbox as well. When I go to the network menu from the start menu, it says my NAT is open in a green box, but my upstream bandwidth and packet loss are both greyed out and 'undetected'.

Every single other game I have tried works fine, just as before. I have tried Gears of War 3, Black Ops, Forza 4, etc. All online stuff appears as normal from the dashboard. I can still do party chat, download DLC, demos, etc. It is only Halo Reach that does not work.

I put my profile on my thumb drive and played over at a friend's house. There I can get on Halo Reach just fine, everything appears as normal.

I've ruled out everything I can think of, it's not my ports, it's not my profile, and it's not my Xbox.

Has anyone had this issue before? It's incredibly annoying.

I'm not blind, I have eyes in front of my head...

Probably your router since your 360 works somewhere else.

If that was the case, wouldn't it cause problems in other games? Like I said, my ports are forwarded, tried the DMZ, and it was working fine a couple weeks ago.

You can't connect to the server. So it is your connection.

Is the internet at the rest of your house working fine? Seems like a stupid question, since you posted this topic, but is it? It could be something with the internet cables for your house, but I doubt it.

Yet every other game works fine, the game itself tells me my NAT is fine, every other device on the connection works fine. If you want to say it's my connection, you're going to have to get very specific, because I've ruled a lot out.

Also, I can join my friend's lobby as well, but as soon as I join his lobby, his game tells him that it can't communicate with the servers.

You have entered the profile of blulit3flam3, this is where a lot of stuff happens.

From absolutely nothing to something.

Maybe its your network settings for reach, your console might be set on local play not xbox live/friends.
