Who the hell do you think I am?

So it's pretty obvious that Christmas is a religious holiday. Now I have seen some people make threads about things like "What are you doing for christmas", now doesn't that mean those people are breaking the rules because its a thread about religion? Sorta... Seriously, wouldn't that be a banworthy offense?

“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”

The Black Chapter!

Let's face it, Christmas presents are about as religious as Richard Dawkins.

They are not about the religious parts of Christmas.

If a mod ever locked a thread/banned an OP because of Christmas talk, I would probably lose all respect I could have possibly had for that mod.

Talking about Christmas presents isn't talking about an aspect of religion.

Hi there! be sure to click that homepage link!

That's a nice question, It's like asking why talking about Jesus is allowed.

I know why though, with both of those questions.

Not like I'm going to tell you, I can't be bothered.

I haven't seen ANYONE get banned/warned for talking about him.

After all, the idea of interpreting his existence is debatable when it comes to whether he is a religious icon or just that you are allowed because he is a historical figure.

*shrugs*

I don't know about it, I thought he counted as religious discussion too.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I think not, Christmas (in America atleast) has changed from simply a religious event to a cultural phenomenon.

As long as the religious aspects aren't talked on and the giving/practices are you should be fine.

Not the best word but Christmas is a world wide holiday that is MORW than a religious event in our cultural and many people's culture.

Like you should be able to talk about Christmas stuff but not about like the habits of a Christmas night sermon or something.
