Always up for REACH customs!
After not playing Reach for over two months I played 10 or so games of TU Beta last night, mostly Zero Bloom games. The Magnum felt amazing, however, I think it's an unhealthy thing for gameplay variety that it completely dominates the rest of the short range weapon sandbox. The rapid 4-shot kill makes the Magnum more useful in almost every situation than the AR, PP, PRi, PRe, Needler, and even the Concussion Rifle.
I don't think the problem is that the Magnum is overpowered, but the other short range weapons are underpowered, even with melee bleed through. Does anyone else agree that they need a 10-20% boost in power as long as the Mag is a 4SK?
