A few long thoughts, hopes, dreams, ideas about future Halo releases:

Able To Carry A Combat Knife, Pistol, 2-3 Main Weapons, 6 Plasma Grenades, 6 M9 HE-DP Grenades, C-12 Explosive Packs, C-7 Explosive Foam, Lotus Landmines, Antilon Landmines, Flash Bang Grenades, Smoke Grenades, repelling gear etc.

A suppressor that can be threaded on to most weapons including the M6D-SMG-MA5B-BR-S2AM etc. able to carry one for each applicable weapon

The MC will be able to customize weapons at Armories. For instance will be able to add suppressors, scopes, lasers, flashlights, etc.

Selective fire modes Single/Three-Round-Burst/Full-Auto on most weapons

A grenade launcher module for the MA5B and BR that will replace the weapons flash-light/hand-guard module similar to the current single shot breach loaded 40MM M-203. Also a more accurate stand alone version.

A Spec-Ops version of the M6D featuring; Night Sights - Black Finish – Threaded Barrel (for mounting a Suppressor).

A pad for digital lock-picking, lock breakers, thermite, Plasma Grenades will disable covenant door locking mechanism with their EMP burst, able to pry doors open by hand

The MC will be able to pick his weapons load-out for some missions.

EMP grenades for temporally disabling Covenant vehicles while not damaging them, so you can grab your self an undamaged ride

A self guided missile with a EMP Warhead for disabling Covenant vehicles from afar and the MC will be able to forcibly remove the occupant(s)

A harness system for securing weapons like in the SG-1 series, I think that Black Hawk makes them.

A hard case backpack for augmenting the carrying capacity of the MC.

MJOLNIR MODULAR GEAR ATTACHMENT SYSTEM (MMGAS). For attaching gear to the MC’s suit. holsters, weapons securing gear, grenade pouches, ammo pouches, back pack, etc.

The UI will resemble the one before E3 2000

A cloaking device in the MC’s Mark-VI MJOLNIR suit that will run for 8 minutes and will fully recharge in 2 minutes. Can be toggled.

The MARK-VI suits outer layer will be able to change its appearance like a chameleon into different camouflage patterns.

Thermal camouflage (suit cooling system to defeat enemy thermal sensors).

Environmental systems able to recycle air for 12hours. Compared to the 90min F.O.R. p120. The SEAL’s right now have a system that runs for 8 hours.

MJOLNIR sonic pickups able to hear a whisper at 100m or in a storm.

The MC can walk at 16mph-26kph run at 32mph-52kph and sprint at 36mph-60kph.

Colored Night Vision (able to toggle between Black & White and Full-Color).

Thermal Vision (able to detect enemies through obstructions).

Visor magnification (binocular zoom).

Adjustable (Radar)/(Motion tracker) range. (able to adjust range from 15m-60m-240m-920m etc.), plus different scan modes.

A small map of the area on the HUD w/ tactical information.

A pop-up full screen map with geological and tactical readouts plus with a live satellite image.

Beowulf and Cortana will be along for the ride in the two A.I. slots in the new MARK-VI Helmet. The two of them will give tactical updates, hack into enemy computers, let you hear Covenant com intercepts, etc.

On both his left and right index finger is a camera for looking around corners while not exposing oneself to enemy fire.

Fiber optic probe like in Halo F.O.R. – F.S. ala (splinter cell)

The flashlights on the MC’s helmet will have infinite power, powered by the suits fusion cell.

The MC will be able to give commands and assign formations to the Marines, as in “Ghost Recon”, possibly using voice recognition software

Marine A.I. will use SWAT entry and clearing tactics. And will sweep the area with their weapons like real solders.

Area specific damage ala you will not receive damage while riding in a vehicle if not hit directly. You will be able to detonate plasma grenades that are being worn on enemy personal. Able to throw a plasma grenade down the barrel of a hunters weapon.

Will be able to pick up weapons, gear, etc. with your hands ala “Break Down”

Able to swap weapons with Marines A.I.

In-game, voice-over subtitles.

Carried weapons and gear etc. will be visible on the MC and NPC models.

Allied and enemy personal will be able to carry a secondary weapon.

All cartridge based weapons can have a round in the chamber (one extra shot available).

When taking ammo from a battle pack instead of having the extra ammo disappearing it will remain available.

If you pick up a weapon off the ground it will only contain the maximum amount of ammo the clip can contain (plus a round in the chamber), if the MC drops a weapon the extra ammo the MC carried will also be dropped.

A way to store weapons in vehicles for transport, no more back tracking.

The MC can use his hands to eliminate enemies silently and to hide their bodies. and can toggle crouch /able to go prone/able to slink along walls - more stealthy.

Able to split jump/hang from ledges.

When climbing a ladder or sliding down a rope, etc. one hand will be used to hold on while the other hand holds the weapon.

Acrobatic abilities like rolling and you will see it from his P.O.V.

An in-level save, any where option, for solo campaign and co-op campaign.

Allied personal can regain health from med kits and Armed Field Medics.

A tracking device that can be placed or launched onto enemy personal or vehicles, it will relay its position to your HUD as a nav-point and on the map view and can track multiple enemies at any give time plus it will relay video from its on board cam ala “Splinter Cell”

In multiplayer when a team member taps the talk button a blue light will appear on allied team members HUDs as an acknowledgement signal like in the Halo books F.o.R. – F.S.

In multiplayer any team member can send a live video feed of his visor or scope view to other team members; the video will appear as a trans-parent image on the bottom right corner of allied team members HUD’s.

In x-box live the voice-chat will use a voice recognition software for communications: example (green team leader call sign [FOX – 3] wants to talk to his sniper call sign [EAGLE 308] he will press the talk button and say “Eagle 308” the voice recognition software will do a instant analyses and connect to “EAGLE 308” and will replay the inquiry that “FOX-3” spoke in to the headset to “EAGLE 308s” headset if “EAGLE 308” taps the talk button a acknowledge light will appear on “FOX-3” HUD and will establish a com channel that all member of green team will hear and can participate. also if “FOX-3” wants to establish a secure com channel to “EAGLE 308” he will say “secure com EAGLE 308” the system works the same but “FOX-3” and “EAGLE 308” will be on a private channel that only they can hear).

MC can scan Covenant written dialog and have it translated in to English.

A mission where you get to infiltrate a Covenant base or ship in the disguise of a Covenant Elite.

Parasails for insertions.

Covenant Elites will only activate their shields if they are alerted, and the same goes for jackals like in FS on p61

Communications link for calling support for instance, vehicles, troops, weapons, supplies, air strikes, artillery.

A data base with write ups and 3D models of all allied and enemy personal, vehicles, equipment, weapons, ships, etc. Plus a huge data section on MC, the SPARTANS II’s History and their suits the “Black Suits” from FoR and the MJOLNIR Mark IV, Mark V, Mark VI Armor suits.

“SPARTAN Time” tachypsychia Halo FS page 12. can be toggled.

Screen can be toggled between 1st and 3rd person’s view when on foot and in vehicles

The Spec-Opt warthog’s main machine gun turret will be more accurate and will have a zoom scope. On the sides of the turret there will be missile launchers, one on each side with a 24 round magazine each, the missiles will be self guided

The Pelican dropship can have a cargo bay expansion put on the end of the cargo bay in place of the [V]ehicle [T]ransport [S]ystem (VTS) and there is room in the middle of the cargo bay for two to four ATVs that can be either driven out or put on parasail pallets for insertions

A new Spec-Ops Pelican dropship that has the extended Cargo bay with door gunners on both sides. in the front of the vessel are 6 heavy machine guns plus 8 missile launchers, etc.

A new Pelican that will carry 160 troops plus vehicles

The MC will be able to fly a Pelican dropship, Long Sword, and a sky hawk (FoR p261) in campaign/co-op/multiplayer. If the MC pilots a Long Sword or a Pelican dropship he will be able to take along troops, weapons, vehicles etc. including the other player(s) as the co-pilot / gunner in co-op mode and multiplayer

In a mission you get to fly a Long Sword though a asteroid field.

In one mission you get to pilot a Hell Jumper Drop Capsule to a landing any where on the map, it’s up to you

Fellow Spartans will be able to hitch a ride on the Banshees winglets in co-op and multiplayer

some ideas are pretty good. but holy -blam!- you went a LITTLE over board...without a life preserver....seriously, that would be like first person metal gear solid. like comon....the master cheif is a human being one man wrecking ball, not a freakin pack donkey with armour plating of a UNSC starship with more fire power 7atomic bombs. thats a little bit ridiculous. just a little.... anyways how in the ef would you manage all that crap. sure it would give you like a million different strategies to use but thats what games like metal gear solid and spilter cell are made for. this is halo.

some good ideas. i say some because most are way way way tooo over the top and will never happen, we need to be realistic. most of them would mess with gameplay of the game we all play and love, and would ruin it. if it were on the PC (hint hint) it would be a great mod and lots of fun, but its not :(
