It's pretty much over. Reach is currently in critical condition on its death bed, and there won't be enough to save it. Let's be honest, Reach is a very frustrating game due to random mechanics, and like some of you, have experience true anger due to these said, random mechanics.
I played it for a year, had a little bit of fun while it lasted, but it's nothing compared to the exodus of players that occurred shorty after the game's release. Even when 60% of the players quit within the first 2 weeks, we still experienced a slow migration away from the game which currently puts us around 30-50k players which is 15% of what it was on the first week.
What now? Will you waste your money in hopes that Reach revives? If you are a loyal fan, I say go for it, give your money to 343 so they in turn can invest it in making the next Halo game bearable. If your aim is to just play a better game, then please quit, and grab BF3 or MW3 which are much more enjoyable than Halo Reach.
