What's hot, sexy and purple?
Ayane (and the Wraith :-D)
Bloom, gives gives a more organic feel to the game. Spartans aren't droids you know.
Yeah, so organic. It's a SPARTAN, a freakin' super soldier of the future using a gun with the technology from 2000 or something. No matter if he/she is a Spartan II or III, it's a damn super soldier. So why cant he hold his gun still? Hell, even the ODSTs/Marines can rapid fire the pistol and hitting targets miles away perfectly. And the Elites with human weapons in firefight....they never miss a shot with the DMR or any other projectile weapon.
Why a feature only affects the player, and not the actual A.I.? To piss you off? Yeah, great idea and implemented in such an awesome way, and so greatly balanced. Yeah, yeah, I know, it was only made so the A.I. (Marines) are not entirely pointless. BUT, why is the game giving you this specific feeling that your spartan totally sucks cauz he cant handle a gun, but that no-name soldier over there can? I simply dont like Bloom. That's why Halo 1,2 and 3 is just better. Cauz it gives you the feeling of, like Halo 1 would say, "combat evolved".
Not to mention that you have to "wait" for that damn crosshair until it becomes normal again cauz Noble 6 is drunk or high, or anything like that (I mean, wtf, his arms/hands are not even moving, so why the reticule does? Magic?) and this becomes annoying in multiplayer. Especially when you encounter the so called spammers and knewbies.
Reach doesn't make sense in multiplayer/design in general. There is no way to defend it. Blooming is poorly implemented and even 343i "confirms" that by patching the game. The only playable gametype is casual crap like Living Dead (Nr. 1 playlist in Halo Reach for some CASUAL reason...) or Big Team battle styled playlists cauz here all the annoying AAs and Blooming etc. are tolerable (but still bad).
