I'm in love with Jesus and proud of it!

These are probably stupid questions...

I was just wondering, will the armor you've unlocked in Reach carry over to CEA's armory? Or will it be like starting all over?

Also, will those playing Reach be able to play against those who are in CEA's multiplayer matchmaking?

Frank O'Connor said he doesn't think the Halo series needs to be taken in a radical new direction... it just needs to go "deeper"

"Ultimately the core game mechanic and strength of the universe doesn't need to be changed, it just needs to be taken deeper. We want to make Halo games - we don't want to make Call of Duty or Ridge Racer. We want to make Halo games because we understand what's special about Halo."

The armor you use in Reach will carry over when you play MP with the HCEA disc.

obviously it will carry over..

I've heard it will be a dual-disc pack, one with new maps and the other with the core game, similar to ODST. Is this true?

i think it's all on the same disc but you also get a DLC code for the map pack so you can play the maps using the reach disc aswell.

Yes. And the Anniversary multiplayer IS Reach's multiplayer. Everything is the same.

CEA uses the same MM engine as reach so yes it will.

You're right, they are.

CE:A maps are simply a map pack for Reach.

I don't want to sound stupid or ignorant but I heard somewhere that cea will expand the armory just wondering...

Doubtful. I think it's just the remastered campaign and the map pack.

because over there you can't insult people and get away with it?

at the moment i think it's ok, moderators are now jumping in to topics and giving the posters warnings instead of straight out banning them as they where before.

the only thing that isn't attractive about the place is the reply box's being so vague and a bland colour scheme but other then that i think it's alright now, i'm not getting banned for posting in my usual manner as i was before.

And besides, I already have this forum, private groups and an other gaming forum I have to moderate... more than enough for me right now.

If Reach section of Bungie.net ever goes down, I'll probably switch over to 343i...

But for now, no.

  • 11.14.2011 11:55 AM PDT

So other than finishing out the Reach campaign commendations there would be little incentive to hold on to my Reach disc at this point, if I'm reading this right.
