They pretty much hinted the Didact somehow would return in Halo 4 and be pissed (at least GS thought) and that GS wanted to try and ally with the Covenant against humanity for destroying the rings (obviously GS was rampant by this point and they alluded to the other monitors being rampant as well).
Yeah might that imply that covies were stationed at other halos? He might've alerted the other monitors and in h4 they might show
Besides Covies still working towards the Forerunners' goals (Glasslands also alludes to this), the terminals pretty much allude to US (humans) as the ancient enemies if you carefully listen to the references Spark makes in all terminals. This, along with that leaked cinematic of what we thought is a "human" with super powers in Halo 4 getting a UNSC trooper through a wall that the true enemy in Halo 4 and the Reclaimer Trilogy could in fact be the ancient humans who were outside of the galaxy and survived the first firing of the array as well as the Forerunner's de-evolving humanity. Humanity in the time of the Forerunners actually found a cure and beat the Flood (possible alliance with the Precursors?) and had a vast galactic empire rivaling the Forerunners. This is already a theme seen seeded in Glasslands as the remnants of the Covenant still wish to follow the Forerunners and learn more about them as well as fearing a peace with humanity as humanity, which has been noted in many recent Halo Universe stories, has an endless capacity for conquest, bloodshed, and expanding. Possibly current humans are feared by Covenant, the Didact and returning Forerunners to pick up where ancient humans left off...and of course ancient humans come back to everyone's surprise and become the true enemy of the Reclaimer trilogy along with what is left of the Precursor's (probably that last one on Charum Hakkor still survived somehow after stealing 5 Halos with Mendicant Bias).
