As the title suggests, I have a question regaurding the CE:A map pack. I own 2 xbox 360s with two copies of reach for use in LAN parties. I wish to have the CE:A map pack and was planning on acquiring them through buying two hard copies of CE:A and downloading the maps to the hard drive from the disk. Recently I found out the the game comes with a DLC code for the map pack. Does this mean that I can simply buy one copy of the game, download the maps from the disc onto one console and use the DLC code for the other? If anyone knows, this would be a great help as I can save 40 dollars.

Thanks
(PS if you help me, you might get a cut of the 40 dollars I save)

But do you need the DLC code to access them through the reach menu?

Is it bannable?

I did it for one of the COD map packs and I have never been banned. You can only do it once in about a year, and it was put into place by Microsoft (I think) so you can share content between two of your accounts. Its perfectly legit, especially because you own both of the accounts and paid for the game.

Go for it.

hmmm...good question, what i would do is just buy one copy first. and then try to do that. if it works, great. if it doesn't just go back to the store the next day and get the other copy =D

Forget it man, and get with the countdown. Shake this square world and blast off for Kicksville.

Reach host ranking algorithm: (a*quit_percentage + b*isMexican + c*(1/KDR) + d*hasGuest) * 100
where a > b = d > c

It would only be achievable through the content license transfer as shown above. To the best of my knowledge, the map pack is not copied from the Anniversary disc, but rather downloaded via the DLC code.

If you didn't want to jump through all these hoops, it'd still be cheaper to buy one copy of CEA and purchase the map pack online for the other 360.

Yeah, but the DLC transfer only takes like 5-10min. Not exactly a big deal.
