Okay so i have been looking on this site and started to have a feeling of what the game may look like, if it is an MMOFPS.
misriahsolutions.com
So what I saw was that the symbols for destiny excluding the one for destiny. (e.g. seraph 7 etc.) are being worn by different employees. Now one thing i got from the site was this text
"As a World Designer at Bungie you will work with Designers, Producers, Artists and Engineers to design our game worlds, develop engaging multiplayer experiences, and create dynamic AI encounters that will be talked about for eras to come. You will evaluate gameplay pacing, flow, difficulty curves, and balance to polish all game activities for an optimum player experience. You will partner with user testing to evaluate ideas and implementatios. You will ultimately be responsible for setup and fine tuning of gameplay experiences, including everything from story moments to player respawn points, and everything in between."
Not a lot to glean from that, but it is intresting when you consider that Bungie no longer has "Mission Designers."

What this points out to me is that they are no longer using mission designers and that the job has been moved to people who have from the description a job that is never ending. What i mean is that like an mmo they will keep updating adding things into the game.
So they will keep changing encounters that exist every now and again, with change of the universe. This ties in with the first point that bunige, will be divided into couple groups for each faction and each group shall deal with the encounters of their factions that they represent.
They shall create the scenarios etc.
Now one of the game i am looking at that is influencing my ideas is Dust 514 or EVE Online(butterfly effect), where the actions of one in this universe effects the whole universe. This may mean that players may have the ability to change the world, and with this change there is a need of creating new scenario's and ai encounters. Mainly certain nation people will be happy at your faction taking over and some will be mad.
Mainly another competing MMOFPS
Another thing is that this new job posting may have to deal with the changes in each faction, politics, etc. Where players will have to deal with, example there may be a rebellion in one faction and players in that certain faction will have to decide who they support.
Although these are only speculation i must say that we will glean more on July 7th 2012. And on that day will know more of this game.
A new point to suggest that it is an mmofps is this new job posting on bunige.net as found on the misriahsolution.com and is the following:
"Create an economic system that will fullfill a players need just as much as shooting an alien in the face. The Economy Designer at Bungie will develop a robust and rewarding game economy that drives behavior towards intended goals and validate those systems through intense simulation, testing and reiteration. You'll design the system and mechanics that drive in-game trade, satisfy the players' need for possession and wealth whilst ensuring rewards retain their intended value despite attempts to exploit or grief system."
This above is what the Economy Designer's job is.
What supports it is that they have to create an ingame economy that will be an essential part of the game, and will drive players to intended goals. Which is usually seen in an MMO sector. Although Halo does have an economy system, it did not have in-game trade, that is said above, and these exist quite mainly in MMO's
Updates
Intresting new pic i found of a futuristic soldier. It is unknown if Bungie or fan art.
