Duh, gee. Ever occur to you people that the maps at Halomaps might be dangerous? Like the Hyrule Field one I tried to warn people about, that everybody ignored? READ CLOSELY:
CUSTOM MAPS CAN CONTAIN TROJAN HORSES AND VIRUSES
Got it? All these anonymous coders and mappers in the "community" are just as capable of screwing you over as any other computer junkie online. If you want to run that risk, it's your head.
Node, please let this drop. You dont know what you are talking about. There is no trojan horse in Hyrule Field. A mapper can't put any virus in a map. That is done in a different way, and in 99% of the cases, not done by the map maker. Hyrule Field only allows the map maker to take control of halo CE servers playing that map. That may sound nasty, but he can't really do anything worse than close the server. There is no way to "code" a virus into a map, and unless you download another program with the map, the map itself is not at fault for viruses.
You are paranoid, good day.
