I for one am a casual gamer. I don't really care about my rank, or XP, or anything like that. I think Halo 3 is incredibly fun, I'm always playing infection with a lot on friends online. I personally don't see much point in online rankings, but I want to see where you stand.

In Reach (which is what I primarily play) I'm fairly competitive and want to go positive by as much as possible every time.

For H3, which is largely a dead game and has full parties of 50s everywhere, I like to play fairly casually, though due to the lower population, I'm forced to play more competitively. I carry my team of randoms most of the time, and I;m a lot better than my 49 games played suggest, but the truth is that I spend a lot more time with Reach.

I will always be a competitive gamer.

After a while, its just something you cant help being.

Dont get me wrong, I can play causally, and not care about winning/losing, but in the end, I will always enjoy winning more.

But then again, I am very competitive at everything I do.

Halo 2 > Halo 3 > Halo 3 ODST > Halo Reach > Halo CE

Based on campaigns.

In between. I play for fun, but i get angry at things that make the match unfair such as the whole team camping in an overshield with a shotgun, sword, sniper rifle and rocket launcher spamming grenades.

If the other team has a bubble, shotty, sword, rockets, and sniper, and one of them has OV, its your fault for being stupid enough to let them get all of those.....

What if there's a de ranker on our team, and its only three verses four?

This happens to me a lot. I hate de rankers

DeranKING pride :D

As for OP I used to be more competitive but I hardly play H3 anymore - most of my recent games have been friends using this tag.

Competitive (when playing custom games. I don't play Matchmaking). I like getting headshots, sticks, and assassinations.

Just to clarify, this, although I sometimes take it overboard.

I think I'm somewhere in-between competitive and casual. I don't really care about playing ranked playlists but I almost always play to win and try and get a positive K/D ratio in every match.

I don't need to be in no damn' clan, I am my own clan.
You know the Master Chief? WELL HERE I AM!!!!!

Nobody really plays for entertainment anymore nowadays some people just play to kill somebody without getting arrested
this is NOT what i do

By the way, anyone played infection on MW3? it is really fun with friends, except I don't know how they made it so you can only use a knife....

you cannot compare Halo 3 to Reach, Reach is not a game, its a disc in a plastic green case called pure fail.

Got it? good.

In between. Sometimes I like ranked and other nights I'll social slayer / BTB it up.

I will always be a competitive gamer.

After a while, its just something you cant help being.

Dont get me wrong, I can play causally, and not care about winning/losing, but in the end, I will always enjoy winning more.

But then again, I am very competitive at everything I do.

This all the way. I can't stand not being good at something and then not trying to better myself. I don't mind it if people aren't competetive players, but for me, I find the most enjoyment in getting better and better. For me, there's nothing more satisfying that spending hours learning a new technique, and then watching someone drop when I finally pull it off.
