Last year,i got halo PC only to figure out i did not have the required video card,so i got an xbox and halo on the xbox instead. While playing halo 2 on xbox live last summer(which was when i first got xbox live),i felt like i wanted to play halo on the PC for some odd reason, and now, having an xbox, and an xbox 360 i now want a good PC.So,i'm saving up for an alienware PC.But my question is:Will Halo PC work on an alienware PC right out of the box?

Of course! Especially Alienwares, because they're great gaming computers!

No they're not. But for all intents and purposes (especially with a game as old as HPC), it'll do the job.

My bad, let me rephrase that.

They're great gaming computers compared to those computers with crappy integrated chipsets.

Don't buy an alienware pc. Build your own. You could have twice the pc for the same price. Look in my siggy, I built mine for 1200.00. Don't waste your money!

But yeah, Halo will work fine.

You'll love Halo PC. Also, if you can, get Halo 2 for PC when it comes out.

no, halo 1 pc will probably work for vista. I dont think MS would be that cheap as to not allow any old games to run. If that were the case I dont think any gamers at all would upgrade to vista.

Like someone suggested, you could try building your own computer...it's pretty cost-effective, and opens up a whole new realm of, say, overclocking to pump even more performance out of your box. Besides, building your own means that you know exactly what goes into your box, and that you won't be gypped into spending more than you have to.

It's not that difficult to do so, a few guides online can help you with your problems, as well as forums dedicated to building computers.

But if you're set on Alienware, well...it's sorta expensive. I don't like those kinds of PCs. They're way overpriced, tbh.

I think it should work on Alienware right out of the box, but for H2PC,you might want to double-check your specs. Some of those Alienwares might come with specs lower than Vista requires to run properly, meaning that your dreams of a Vista PC are bunk.

Remember that alienware are unscrupulous, so always check the specs of the pc you are buying from them, whenever i check them, everything costs extra and graphics cards don't come as standard.

Or me.

Heck, why not just post the darn specs of the computer you're looking into? Better than sending off 37 individual PMs to random members.
