Firedawg's Darkside

Master Seargeant

#3 of the Ghostbusters

If you knew Halocharts you knew me. I made several friends a HC & my FL nor would my FPS game skill (as average as it is) be what is is without Halocharts.

I thank FS, Static Flatline, Pete Venkman, Halabrand, HC Redemption, Zacky, Fucoming, Boss Vos & so many others for making me enjoy the fine games Bungie created.

If you have looked at my player page you know I'm a below average player but it never was about how I played the game it was more about who you played with & the fun you have. That is where HC made the difference.

I will put it simply HC was not only a stat site, it was a place to find fun friends who had the same mind set in gaming (whatever game you play).

Is HC dead? No, never not while the community who stayed there keep gaming together. In my humble opinion I feel Firestream will take a break, get himself right in his life then feel the bug that drove him to make the best stat site on the planet. I look forward to that day & I'll be waiting to join.

can help me backpack Obi.

Et Tu, Brute?

I'm gonna take skyrim out and attempt to set a new betrayal record.

Achronos is right, we may need more than the Gunslingers for a feat of this magnitude.

You always have me Del. I can backpack anybody, no matter how bad they are. Right Boss? ;)

Trolls = the most ignorant souls on the internet.

HC will live on in my mind, as long as it isn't forgotten.. It'll never truly die.

What shames me is the poor attitudes I saw in the final day, and after it went down and the Mobile side was still active.. that was outright embarrassing of those involved. You know who you are.. Talk about respect lost.

But Halocharts was the greatest site ever. Its legacy will never die that much is certain. We can only hope for some point in the future for a Halocharts 2.0

Hello! I'm Bunie.net's resident medical student (hell i'm sure there are more but I'm the only one who openly declares it!) I love my emblem, and I am periodically active.
I have a Twitter

Such an important site to the Halo community lost.

My blog entry detailing the time I spent at Halocharts, from 2008-present.

Bungie, offer Firestream a job so he can viably make stats for future games (he said he would if he could).

HaloCharts.com!

HCs was a great website. The community behind it was what made it so popular and such a fantastic website.

It is truly sad to see it go. I am glad I was a member there.

HCs will never die...

13.72 billion years in the making.

On December 1st, 2012, I met Neil deGrasse Tyson. I shook the man's hand, and even made him laugh. Not much else to do with my life now.

Just checked.

It's officially gone...

@Helveck

Just an Average Joe...

That's too bad. It was really was a great site.

I had fun over there, not gonna deny it. There was drama, there was complaining but when I was there, I did enjoy it. It was a pretty good community, even if I did have a few disagreements with a few (lot) of the members. Having known most of the members from around 1.5 years (has it been that long) ago, I know that while the website might go down, the community will probably stick together for quite a while.

My feelings? A little bit of regret I guess. Never really did apologise.

Didact's Reprisal -
Now is the time of our unworlding
One final effort is all that remains
And I am not afraid
We shall fulfill our promise
We fight for the grace of the Mantle
And this time none of you will be left behind

Halo2sucks.com also is no more.

More on-topic, I was never for Halocharts. Can't say I'm sad to see them go.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who didn't care for the site. I gave them a chance and the combination of slow servers and slow profile updates made it useless. The site was clearly corrupt when it glorified boosters like RippinHeads simply because they donated to the site.

Most of the statistics were available through better sites anyway, including bungie.net. With the changes that 343 industries is implementing recently, it is clear that Halocharts couldn't live up to future standards similar to the new developer app "Atlas". Good riddance.
