Subject: Why are most clans run/ created by terrible players?

the only explanation i have for such a thing is that it makes them all think that they were better because they have other bad kids to play with. When really all that they're doing is just concentrating all the -blam!- players into groups so they can be picked off easier, If they were to play solo, they would either be teamed up with terrible, average, or good players. But then they play as a "clan" they'll always be teamed up with the same terrible players again and again.

:/

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

Because clans are for bad players.

  • 11.17.2011 3:38 PM PDT

Idk

Cause they enjoy having power?

  • 11.17.2011 3:38 PM PDT

to make themselves feel better because obviously clans are full of "good" players..

Wisdom.

Because good players don't call them clans. Nor advertise.

No point to it, when you think about it.

Because clans make the terrible feel less terrible.

  • 11.17.2011 5:17 PM PDT

I run a clan and I'm not bad, just avarage.

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

They're lolclans for a reason, you know.

Toxizoc says...
If you are one of the rare challengers to witness this emblem in Halo multiplayer, :(, then....good luck but you've lost.

Well, considering that a large percentage of clans are in fact created by 12 year olds...

Plus, clans are retarted. Teams and partnerships are the way to go.

Do you like Yax? I do.

They probably want to get good people to carry them in team games. I get lots of clan invites from little kids/horrible players.

I don't join clans because the leader is somebody who thinks it is a serious matter, when really it dies when a popular member is offline for a long time and doesn't hold meetings or matches,or that the members forget. Also,I hate clans because of it being so specific, like color and emblem. In MW3 I am in the Se(X)y clan,I really don't mind the clan tag but seriously, emblem and character...dear god.

Everyone is entitled to their own wrong opinion.

I'm part of the Bungie.net Minecraft group/server called SeptaCrafters
We're a Bungie.net group that goes to our very own Bungie server. Most players are from the Halo community either off Bungie itself or through word to Halo friends.

Its like making a group when you were a kid. Like you had a little club. Its the same on the xbox.

Nope. SouthPole isn't a person. He's the avatar of the force of tryhards everywhere. He stalks the web looking for retards to set straight. He can not be stopped by mere bans or thread locks for he shall rise anew.

Because good players make teams.

I'm new to competitive Halo and Halo itself (Reach being my first video game ever actually). Message me if you want to play;

Reach: MLG, Arena, Doubles, BTB and customs.
Halo 3: Ranked MM and customs.

Also I have every Halo title and all of its DLC on the Xbox 360.

they can make a clan if they want I don't see the problem. Maybe they want to meet new people or try new things. Now what's really annoying is when the boast about their clan and advertise to you.

  • 11.17.2011 7:17 PM PDT

Hold it right there.

Hello. Name's Brian. Look, if you're looking for a flame war with me, just open up the Flood and write up some not-nice things about religion and I'll bring my nukes to the party.

If you want some other way to contact me, you can forget it.

If you're interested in some of my work, you can check my homepage out.

Terrible is subjective right?

Honestly, I prefer playing with my group. It's not really like playing a clan of tryhards, but more like a bunch of friends just playing games together. It eliminates the terror of playing with randoms, which seldom pair you up with a cool guy you can enjoy the game with.

Still, I find your OP almost stupid actually. Playing solo is playing roulette, hoping to join up with a good or bad random. If they're a "clan" they can all just go rush Banshee like Gamesager does because it's effective and always has been.

If clans were not effective they wouldn't exist, now would they?

  • 11.17.2011 7:21 PM PDT

It seems that you're mad.

Understandable.

I would be mad too if I couldn't understand half of the words the other person was saying.
