The GRD Helmet- It's the new Bungie armor, aka something every kid wants, but can't get, and whine about wanting to get one.

Because most clans are started by stupid kids who think they are the greatest Halo player on the planet, get more retarded kids to join, and then boast about how "cool" they are and how many people they have.

It is kinda sad, I met a clan once in a game and some little kid wanted to join, and they were total -Blam- to him, and said he was too young and a waste of their time, but give them some money and they will might think about it. So me and my friend made fun of them and they raged, and ran away.

I went to their website, and they charge money for online tournament, which are hosted on custom games.

Hold it right there.

Hello. Name's Brian. Look, if you're looking for a flame war with me, just open up the Flood and write up some not-nice things about religion and I'll bring my nukes to the party.

If you want some other way to contact me, you can forget it.

If you're interested in some of my work, you can check my homepage out.

If clans were not effective they wouldn't exist, now would they?
But they're not.

That's a clan? Seems like just two guys got together and played alongside two randoms.

Seriously though, play a real clan.

I tried out uh, what's it called? Forerunner Conflict once. Could've sworn every goddamn RED General or Captain and his troupe was just a contract away from going on MLG.

Actually, I think it's best we should define what a clan actually is. If you're going to call any B.net group out there a clan, then by all means you're right.

It seems that you're mad.

Understandable.

I would be mad too if I couldn't understand half of the words the other person was saying.

Running about 100+ MLG games against teams that lost really badly to randoms gave me the experience that most teams in the game suck.

Terrible is subjective right?

Honestly, I prefer playing with my group. It's not really like playing a clan of tryhards, but more like a bunch of friends just playing games together. It eliminates the terror of playing with randoms, which seldom pair you up with a cool guy you can enjoy the game with.

Still, I find your OP almost stupid actually. Playing solo is playing roulette, hoping to join up with a good or bad random. If they're a "clan" they can all just go rush Banshee like Gamesager does because it's effective and always has been.

If clans were not effective they wouldn't exist, now would they?
I do play with a group of friends on occasion, but most of my games are played solo. I've won most of my solo games too. (though I had to carry my team 70% of the time.)

Don't believe me? look at my game history.

The good players are busy getting better at the game instead of trying to maintain a clan.
