Now try how and why."

I respect all members.

He/She can post alot but it doesn't always have to be a good post. A member with a lower title can have better posts than some people with special titles.

Hey... where can I find the quote button?

Just messing, man. No offense intended.

OT: Unless the topic is something related to past events on Bnet or something like that, my level of respect for other posters is pretty much based solely on what they have to say. I believe that respect has to be earned.

Mythic members are like people with tattoos. Just as soon as you become a Mythic member, you can kick anyone's ass. It really works.

Nope. You're all the same. There are a few standouts that I like to troll/remind of all the good times. But that's not based on title.

My future is certain, I will one day fly away. All because I am saved from the penalty of sin. I know he lives.

I respect higher titled members the same way as I respect lower titled members, by the content of their posts.

I would mostly agree with this statement. I used to think that the blue bars stood for something a little more meaningful (as meaningful as you can get on an internet forum). But there are always a few rotten appels in the bushel. Now it is just a case by case.

I respect members based on their conduct, not the shiny medals pinned on their chest.

This. The only title I care about is the ninja title. Because the mods are guaranteed to be good members. Hopefully.

Did you know that 93% of all statistics on the internet are made up on the spot, and that 68% of readers believe them?

Nobody should gain your respect because a different colored bar or title next to their name. They must earn our respect by the content of their post, just like everyone else.

Yes, I'm a girl, stop asking.

Republic Commando fans look here.

"This is the way the world ends, not with a bang or whimper, but with zombies breaking down the back door."

Blue automatically makes me superior.

Really, though, I couldn't care less what title you have. A person's post doesn't become less stupid because they're Heroic or Legendary.

There was a time that the pieces fit, but I watched them fall away. Mildewed and smoldering, strangled by our coveting. I've done the math enough to know the dangers of our second guessing. Doomed to crumble unless we grow, and strengthen our communication.

I've heard people say stupid things no matter what their supposed "Forum Rank" is. Like what everyone else has said, read what's under the username rather than beside it.

I sense a severe lack of Title v Title warfare in this thread. Very disturbing. Why else would Bungie implement such a system if not to divide us into arbitrary groups and promote the idea that one is superior?

It all varries with their title. If they are an Honorable, Nonle, Exalted, etc., ect., I would not respect them as a higher titled member. If they are however a Mythic, Fabled, Senior, etc., ect., then yes. But of course I give all of the members here respect. Just some have higher than others do.

We believe that the universe is unbounded: this is not the same as infinite: the 2-D surface of a sphere, wrapped around a 3rd dimension, has a finite size, but has no end. If you start off in a given direction on the surface of a sphere, you could return to your start point without having to turn around -- you simply go all the way around. But wouldn't that mean the universe has an escape velocity like the earth?

I cant exactly "respect" higher titles, moreso obey the Ninjas and Employees. However Everyone to me here is fair game and equal, and should be judged on post quality rather than whether you are Legendary or not.

Hello, I'm Mr AwesomePizza. I like pizza and I'm a man. Reasoning for the name. I like to listen to the classics of music, write poetry, play video games, and much much more. I'm always down for a nice chat, so please hit me up for some conversation.

Respect is earned, not given.
I give respect when respect is due. You might be a really high member rank, but you also might be the most mean person of all. And you might be just a simple member and have the greatest kindest and intelligence that has ever graced this place. People need not to judge a person by their title, but by the content of their character.

I knew I'd find this in here.

Atom's right, except for in my case, where my title is above all.

'04 or bust. ;)

But, yeah, the titles are thoroughly meaningless. I tend to side with Delta/Primo that knowing a good chunk of the mythic members leaves me disinclined to respect them.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Respect has nothing to fo with a title.

Titles have nothing to do with respect. Its the content of the post that matters to me.

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

There are several "higher titled" (I put that in quotes because unless you are a mod or employee titles make no difference)members that I really don't like. I don't like people just because they have a blue hat.

My Best Bungie moment: finally beating all the Halo games on solo legendary.
My Worst Bungie moment: not seeing giant stuffie grunts in the Bungie store.

I respect people who try to have intelligent conversations and use proper grammar. Sometimes these people are high-ranking members, sometimes not.
