They're still managing other Halo games.

They probably enjoy being Halo fans as much as they used to enjoy managing the Halo universe. Forum Ninjas didn't manage the universe though, they are just Bungie fans like us.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

I've spent close to a decade playing Halo. Everything that could of been experienced has been with the series. It had a fantastic run, and as sad as I am to see it go, I'm pleased with Bungie's decision to start anew.

Edit: Oh this question was only for mods and employees? lol

I wouldn't be surprised if they have spoken to him (even if just on this site) in the past, Ninjas tend to be older members, so they were most likely around when he was the community guy here on bungie.net.

Yes, he used to post the Bungie Weekly Updates until he left some time after Halo 3 was released.

Why would they miss Halo?

You can still play Halo 2 Vista, Halo: Wars, Halo 3, Halo: Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary online on LIVE. Two of them are in the top 10 of the most played XBL titles. Plus, Halo has a very loyal fanbase.

I'm pretty sure they've had a hell of a time developing and managing the Halo universe when they were in charge.

I'm wishing the best of luck to Bungie for their upcoming IP.

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

No, not really. I can't wait for the new game to be announced.

Bungie didn't develop Steam Pirates, they helped release it by helping out Harebrained.

Path1k, Crimson wasn't a Bungie game. Bungie Aerospace helped develop the game, but it wasn't their idea, they helped the developer(Who at the moment slips away from my mind) produce Crimson: Steam Pirates.

Just clarifying.

And when it comes to Bungie's next game, I think I'm going to listen to Recon on this one...

If this is the idea and project the Jones has spent years considering, thinking about, developing, tinkering, etc.....?

Just as Halo made console shooters acceptable, and Halo 2 made automated matchmaking commonplace and Halo 3 made stat micromanagement into an RPG-like element for shooters.... and so on....

I think that this thing (whatever it may be) could be aiming at breaking a mold or two, or shattering some preconceptions as to what defines and limits any particular gaming genre.

Seriously. If this is what Jones and others have been plotting about for all of these years, there is a very real reason for the darkness and something very game changing (pun intended) coming when they do announce.

That's just speculation, I know not one thing at all, except history. The term "paradigm shift" gets overused, abused and spoken too much, but I am thinking that it could be one here.
