They see me rollin', they hatin'.
For those of you who think that every armor ability (most notably armor lock) is somehow overpowered, underpowered, unneeded or just plain -blam!-, I have something to say: The ability's, weapons, and vehicles of the Halo universe don't need to be ''balanced.''(although having balanced gameplay does make for enjoyable multiplayer) Here's an example: Let's say you are in a real war, engaged in a frenzied firefight with real people. Your side has the biggest, baddest guns you would ever hope to see, you're equipped with some kind of bullet proof shielding and a huge-rocket-bomb-morter-launcher-thingy, and the opposing side has pea-shooters and slingshots. Your enemy's yell, ''You have better guns and armor than us, this fight isn't balanced! give us the same guns as you have and don't use the overpowered shielding, so it will be fair!'' Would you give them what they ask for? No. You would calmly blow them to bits.
Ladies and gentlemen, would the UNSC stop using armor lock just because it wasn't ''fair'' to the covenant? No.
It doesn't always have to be fair! Life isn't always fair.
The spartans can do whatever they-blam!-want! Stop complaining about balancing! Because real wars aren't balanced. Therefore, you do not need to keep pestering us by continually saying that ''armor lock is overpowered.''
I have spoken.
