I've only recently started looking at this forum and the thing that gets me, time and again, is the amount of whiners moaning that 'Reach Sucks!' 'Reach is the worst Halo game ever!' 'I hate Reach!' etc, etc.
Well why the **** are you playing it then?!! And why are you polluting these boards with your serial negativity, hmm?
There are faults in Reach - as there are in ALL games - but the fact is when you take the game as a whole Reach is one fine event.
The Campaign has a good storyline, with great graphics and heart-stirring music score, well-fleshed out squad-mates who are well voiced by the actors (who amongst us wasn't shocked the first time when Kat was killed) and a fine, bittersweet ending which demonstrates heroic self-sacrifice.
For those amongst us who like Multiplayer - it's not my thang - I'm sure it is satisfying (the amount of players on Team Slayer at any one time attests to that).
As for Firefight and especially any of the co-operative selections, in my opinion these are worth the price of the game alone. Heart-pounding action - especially in Doubles - and a great sense of achievement when closely co-operating with a player thousands of miles away.
The Challenges keep you coming back for more and feeling great when you can manage the weekly and all dailies in one day.
Look, it's simple - if you don't like it don't play it and keep your negativity for the CoD boards.
And if you do love this game and appreciate the joy and excitement it brings - see you on Reach!
(By the way, the 'GTF' in this post's title is an old Scottish expression - it translates as 'Get Tae F***!)
