I'll keep it short and simple so I can go play Skyrim.

Halo:Reach fails to punish players like previous Halo games did.

Look at CE-3. If you mess up, by going into the open. You died. Your failure to understand who is where and with what would result in your death.

You suck at aiming? You get out shot.

Now I find that Reach takes the "punishment" out of Halo.

For example:

You/team mess up in getting a power weapon: AL nerfs the weapon YOU failed to get.

You/team fail to get map control: Jet pack-It nerfs the high ground and Power weapons.

You/team run out into the open at the wrong time: Sprint or Evade away.

Can't flank the other team or play smart: Hide with Camo and move up slowly

Now since Bubble sheild was removed and Hologram is useless you can really see that its true. All AA's added to Halo was an escape methoed for less skilled players.

Yeah, but the extra benefits/mechanics that Reach provides on spawn can either help your team save your ass(Ex: AL) or survive (sprint, evade, random bloom). More so than the earlier Halo games anyway (the br spread and equipment did help you sometimes, but that's it).

Well this as well. However I understand Reach as a causal friendly Halo game. Nothing can be changed now.

Who knows what Halo 4 might introduce. I would have made a 20 post article on 343's website, but since it wouldn't matter. Why bother.

You can be given the tools but if you cannot use them in a way that will keep you alive you will still die in a unquestionably owned fashion

Yeah they are pretty stupid but it hasn't bothered me yet since everyone I play is an idiot.

All I get on Headlong is snipers but whatever.

Hang Em High is really annoying since all the power ups/power weapons are out in the middle of the map with no cover and everyone has 3sk pistol. Only way to get them unharmed is to pick up the invis first but I guess it has always been that way.

Damnation isn't that bad so far.

Prisoner is amazing though, I didn't ever remember it being this good.

Hang Em' High is super easy to get sniper, OS and rockets.

I can understand what you are saying but I've yet to have a problem getting them.

Also, Pro nades got all the power weapons :)

True. However if nades worked like they did in Halo 1.

I would love Hang Em High even more.
