The weight of your heresy will stay your feet and you will be left behind

hi halo fans, i was wondering why is it that u think that the flood never infected hunters or grunts

Hunters are worms and have neither the mass or calcium to support infection.

Grunts do not have the mass for infection, but can still be used to make a Gravemind.

ok here's a better question even tho hunters are worms could the flood mimic them in kind of a pseudo pure strain with armor?

no a carrier form is created after a combat form has ether lost it's limbs or is un-able to function as a combat form

no those are jackes and sometimes mariens that turn into carriers

Jackals are avians, ie birdlike, and as such lack the sufficient amount of calcium to support an infection. Like Grunt's they can still be used to make a Gravemind.

And you are wrong, Carriers are simply Combat Forms that are too damaged to be effective fighters and so they create new Infection Forms to continue the infection process.

This is as close as the Flood can get to a Hunter. As others have stated previously, Lekgolo-the small worms that make up Mgalekgolo-do not have the body mass, like the grunts, to support a Flood infection.

The Flood Tank Form is an iteration of the Flood Pure Form so ultimately, yes, you could argue that the Flood could create it's own "perfect" version of the Hunter.

However, it took some time for the Flood to evolve to the stage it was in at the end of Halo 3 and would have taken longer to reach this higher stage of evolution-an amount of time not granted to them by their untimely demise at the hands of the UNSC and Elites.

true true what kinda of "perfect forms" do u think that they reached in the Forerunner-Flood war?

I couldn't tell you for sure but it would obviously have to be something far beyond what we have seen in the Halo Universe so far in order to pose such a daunting threat to the Forerunners. That's a pretty scary thought...
