I like to know what people do when they play matchmaking. Here is the question I was itching to ask. Do you play alone or in a group?

I usually play alone without the hassle and dependence from other players. I am rather competent and do provide a stern challenge to the opposition. My W/L aren't too bad, but it is to be expected as a lone player. I do occasionally play with my friends, but that's like once in a blue moon. Well that's how I roll. What about you guys? Just give me your answer and...I probably going to get flamed anyway, so it's pointless to even ask.

I usually go alone nowadays, Ever since I left the clan I was in because I was sick of the game being "too easy" for me. Though it sucks every so often, I find myself better off now.

Team.

More fun and less frustrating when your random teammates go -30.

team. always.

I play alone about 90% of the time. I don't mind randoms, but occasionally you do get those amputees who can't get a kill. It's not too often, though.

I play alone most of the time because my mic is broken.

  • 11.19.2011 3:05 PM PDT

I can only please one person per day.

Today isn't your day.

Tomorrow isn't looking too good either.

If you want to win or do well? Or hell, even have fun?

Teams.

Playing alone is basically punishing yourself unless there is a Mercenaries playlist.

Nope. I have played alone since Black Ops came out, and it was in no way a form of punishment.

Yes it is.

You've just trained yourself to enjoy the abuse.

I play alone most of the time, have everyone auto muted, and I do just fine.

  • 11.19.2011 6:21 PM PDT

Boltshot = mini shotgun

I play alone almost exclusively because only 2 of my friends play Reach at all, and almost no one has a microphone, and I still do fairly well(at least a 1.00).

So basically... Waypoint is pro-vanilla?

Posted by: Sentox6
Waypoint isn't pro-anything so much as they're just anti-intelligence.

Always with a team, or at least a few competent players.

  • 11.19.2011 7:18 PM PDT

Depends. Usually when I'm with a team I'm unstoppable. When I go alone I either completely dominate or fail hard. I guess I'll go with on my own.

I am mediocre

If you want to win? Go as a team. but if your good enough, you can carry on your own, however if your talking about MLG or high level arena, always go in as a team.

  • 11.19.2011 7:54 PM PDT

No point to it, when you think about it.

My friends are either too wussy (wanting to play Co-Op Campaign on Normal? PFFFFT), or only want to stick with one playlist.

I roll solo.

You're always better off as a team of people you click well with. You can read eachothers plays, know what to do to help out, know how to successfully push for power weaps, teamshoot/flank more often, not get betrayed while on a killing spree or positioned to flank someone in objective gametypes. See where I'm getting at Op?

Though to answer your question I play solo most of the time and find my future team mates through the randomised matching system.
