Halo 4/5/6 are going to fail.
Fact.
Yup. This isn't the first time 343i has back tracked and done/said the opposite of what they previously said. Lookit them, playing like the big boy devs that have been around for ages. Have you seen the people working at 343i? They are all huge industry veterans.
Also when have they gone back on their word, so far they have done everything they said they would.
Reaaaaaaaaaaaaally now?
Remember before they announced the TU?
"Reach is fine the way Bungie made it, it just needs a few tweaks here and there."
Result : Well, you saw OPs post.
"Reach playlists are going to stay the way they are, we like it that way."
Result : How about a nice game of Firefight Limited? Oh, right, you can't, because that playlist is gone.
"If people like the tweaks we make in the TU Beta playlist, you can expect to see these changes Reach wide within the next month or so."
Result : Uh huh, yeah ..... 2 months later .....
"We are going to provide a classic feel with the Anniversary map pack, and give you as close to a CE online multiplayer as we can."
Result : We're there AAs in CE? DMRs? No? Funny, you find them all in the Anni playlists.
Did everything they said they would? SURE SEEMS LIKE IT, EH?
As for 343i being industry vets ... would an industry vet need someone else to make their HD skin, to skin a game they didn't even code in the first place, and include multiplayer maps reskinned by another different group? If by 'vet' you mean "One who has been around long enough they see it fitting to have other people work on their flagship release, then sure, they are vets.
What was 343i founded for again? Oh right, as I have said before, making sure Halo games are still pumped out, and making money for Microsoft. Their first venture was the worlds biggest most interactive Halo ad. The first thing they did when they took over, was announce a new TRILOGY. Not a single game, no, three.
Halo 4 is going to blow, and people will still buy it, they'll pine for Reach, and hype Halo 5. Like they have been doing for ages.
....*facepalm*
Nice, thought out refuting of those points, bro. Oh right, you can't refute facts.
