Hmm, there might be a problem with your DirectX drivers, you should download the latest version of DirectX at their website. Just google it up. Or, go to Run in your Start Menu and type "dxdiag" and tweak some of the options there".

Your system specs would help me alot.

Well my computer is worse than yours, and bu what you are telling me, it should have the latest version of DirectX. In that case, open up Start Menu, go to Run.

Then you type in "dxdiag". It shpuld open the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

There should be many tabs at the top of the window when it opens such as System | DirectX Files, etc.

Go to the "Display" tab. At the bottom, there should be a box called "DirectX Features". Then where it says DirectDraw Acceleration, press "Enable" It should work.

One of the times I re-installed Halo, it said the same thing. All I needed was the latest update for the game. Give that a try.
