@Geegs30

Get off my lawn...

And no, not necessarily. I do know some of the Mythic members are actually seasoned human beings, but many of them are also just dedicated fans that got introduced to Bungie when they were wee lads.

Not particularly. They're are quite a few mythics that seem to act like Children.

I normally only associate title with account age/ activity, to assume characteristics about the person behind the account is not really prudent. For example, I've not made it to Mythic, but I'm older than Mega Man.

  • 11.21.2011 9:10 PM PDT

@spaboolly

I'd be interested to see how old most of the people in here really are. Sometimes I do think of the mythics as being older, but that's probably because I assume they were at least 16-17 when they made their accounts. Most Bungie games are M rated.

Of course, that would also make them roughly the same age as me, so by that logic I apparently think of myself as old.

I'm not. I'm afraid the answer will scare me.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

No, all the mythics are immature. The real members are the legendary members, we give the best responses and we have matching jackets.

Yo Halo53, I'm real happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best bungie.net profiles of all time. OF ALL TIME!

Based on my account, you can safely assume I am at least 9 years old.

That means I'm at least 5. I need to shave a lot for a 5 year old. :D

Yax is a shining beacon in these dark times. You should all strive to be more like Yax.

It's not really about how you choose to "judge people", it's about an instant mental image or assumption. There isn't meant to be anything intentional about it.

Personally, I think I see Mythics (and mods) as on the early-side of 20's. Legendarys are late teens. Or something.

Nope. Burrito was a mythic a long time when I was playing with him frequently, and he wasn't that old at all.

I was just going to mention that. Back when I had my mythic, some people thought I was young too, but times have changed.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with these two, this made me LOL hard.

Too old.

Anyways, for me, I don't really assume. If we become buds and I see them face to face, then I'll know how old the member really is.

Nope. I've seen Mythic members who have the grammar of a ten year old.

The tide is turning, brothers! Let us take our kingdom back!

I've talked with a fairly young Mythic before. I can't really guess anybody's age on here, so I don't try to associate rank with age, rather posts with age.

  • 11.22.2011 12:02 AM PDT

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

I reached Mythic once when I was 16. I'm 18 now.

Chicken go cluck cluck cow go moo

When I see a post by a mythic member I typically do think that person is at least 20 years or so.

Yes, because 99% of them are. Mythics are people who joined young, and grew along with the site. Unless you joined when you were 12 (which actually is pretty likely), then you'd be over 18 for sure by the time you hit Mythic.

I see them all in their 20's mostly... which is what makes them unwise in the most unthinkable ways. ;)

Yoozel, you just answered my post for today :P.

I respond on how the user talk back to me. The idea of that is to get on the same level of manners and respect of interaction with another community member. Unlike some other community members, I end up either blocking them, or simply reply saying that they need some manners to talk.

It's common misconception to judge people based on their title bar or even their account's age. It's doesn't matter, just like the twenty dollar's bill in Tiger wood's pant.

Yes. Since people don't get Mythic until they've been active here for 2-3 years, I know that all Mythic members are at least 2 years old.
