i nthe recent halo 2 beta review 1up.com in match examples talks of jus being able to push the mellee button and it automaticaloly goin after the nearest enemy. i can understand this if its a tool for begginers and can be turned off but honestly if it cant that will be noob as hell, removing much of the skill from closequarted combat, not to mention sneaky spots.
if you are gonna reply plaese read the article and what the man actulaly says before u do its at the site listed above

maybe having a little bit of sticky, like ranged weapons do would be ok. but not like you can be facing someone else and still hit them, if ya know what I mean.
