The Forerunner, the Great Journey, and Heaven Theory

[Announcement Trailer] Halo: Forerunner

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.

As you may or may not of noticed, a lot of overflow from the Halo forums has spilled over into the Universe forum since Bungie 'hid' the direct link to the Reach forum.
Crap from the Halo forums has been overflowing into Universe literally for as long as I can remember.

To be Fair, the Universe forum is for Bungie's game (the history, etc), Halo was made by Bungie.
Ken...I...*sigh*

I promise if you read the rules that are particular to the Universe forum you would see why there would be a problem with interpreting the forum in that way.

Anyway, yes, there is a lot of off topic posting there. I'll leave it to people more intelligent than I to figure out the solution to that problem. What bothers me is that there have been more than a few instances of links to direct downloads of viruses and or p0rn sites which go unaddressed for days. (Keep in mind I do PM those in instances and I'm aware moderators have lives but 4 days is pushing it).

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I mean you don't take about playlists or that kind of the thing in universe I mean things relating to the Halo story should be acceptable.

Yes (and they are).

It's just people use the reasoning that because Halo was made by Bungie, and because the Universe forum is for discussing Bungie's games, I can discuss whatever topic I want about Bungie's games in the Universe forum.

I made the assumption that you were going that route too and I was wrong so I apologize. Just a word of advice, if you were more clear in your posts (instead of using generalizations or one sentence responses that aren't really substantive and force people to make assumptions) you might encounter less negative responses here. Put some thought into what you're saying and why you're saying it and be as clear as you can.
