All it says in the gametype options is that speed is 120% but more seems to be done. The jumps seem heavier and the strafing seems quicker. Also, do you die from falls easier?

Ohai, I'm Loscocco (pronounced Loss-cocoa). I'm a college student (computer science major), 3D animator, and long-time Halo player.

I swear, I think they removed movement acceleration/inertia, which was a huge problem with strafing on Reach, but I could be wrong.

Other than that, I think they made jump height bigger, but gravity stronger (or the other way around...I haven't been paying attention, just been playing it) to maintain an old Halo jump. You just fall faster.

Inheritor #156 :p

120% speed
50% melee
110% shield recharge (faster)

That's about it, I was literally just looking at all the new settings in custom games (at least for anniversary TS)

120% movement, 125% jump height. 200% Gravity.

Yeah, but when I play ce, the jump feels floaty but not high. Maybe they made it the same jump height without being floaty. I could swear they took away some inertia too! I'm glad they did if it's the case.

Is that true... how do you know for sure?

You can load up the gametypes from your history and look at the settings.

I did, and it just said speed was only changed... maybe that was without classic gametype. So when you play ann with AA, you can sprint with 120% speed? That doesn't sound right, because I don't remember sprinting that fast.

I think they modded the base value that the UNCHANGED is not changing.

Also those settings I listed are what it feel like in game. You definitely jump higher and also fall faster

Ahh I see. So it must be the 200% gravity that makes strafing quicker. Why didn't the classic community use 200 gravity instead of 150 then?

I though it was faster because of the faster top speed.
