Messages from Achronos... I can't believe some people actually look forward to them :/

  • 11.23.2011 5:25 AM PDT

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

There's a “U” and “I” in union but just an “I” in my beliefs

Funny...Achronos came in, didn't answer your question then left.

Yax is a shining beacon in these dark times. You should all strive to be more like Yax.

Yeah, because they're always top-quality, right?

To be fair, whenever I have PMed him with something I do consider important, he has been good about respinding. So at least we know he reads PMs. Which is nice.

I reply when there is an answer I can give. There often isn't. I'm also not a support representative or community rep like Urk or Deej - answering your PMs is something I do on my own time (I'd like to direct your attention to the timestamp on this post and also note that I'm technically on vacation this week). That's not a slight against you guys - but there are a lot more of you than there are of me. Sometimes I have to prioritize.

He has never once returned my PM's. Even with a decent question he never returned them.

So just to pry into the past; When i sent you a PM regarding why the alt code and brackets exist for by passing the swear filter exist when you clearly would like to "keep it clean" there was no real answer to it?

Wait Bungie employees get days off? What heresy is this?!

  • 11.23.2011 1:33 PM PDT

Who the hell do you think I am?

Why would the accounts delete by themselves in the first place? That's kind of stupid.

  • 11.23.2011 1:33 PM PDT

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

1 year of inactivity is decent grounds for auto deletion.

Achronos is excellent about returning PMs.

He gets paid to return PMs. Why the hell wouldn't he respond?

And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven stone from stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight corners of the World. The moon was blood, and the sun was as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.

Haha. Are you sure about that?

cars, girls & cake all day everyday

He's responded to all of the PMs I've wanted him to respond to. Because I ask useful -blam!-.

So back on topic! I'm sure this is the "answer" to this thread. And now we speculate why it could have been turned off. (because it obviously matters)

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.
