Armor Lock used to be abused pretty damn bad, but now it seems as if Evade is abused just as much. Although the Jetpack is pretty bad just as well.

So people who played Halo 3 have idea how to play Halo Reach right?

Halo 3 does have similar mechanics to Halo Reach. Which might make it a relevant addition to your experience... if it had -blam!- jetpacks in it.

So with no knowledge of other jetpack games or ones I've played you can say with near certainty they have mechanics in no way similar to halo reach ?

Wow I'm just glad this isn't taught to surgeons as it would be, oh no sorry I can't operate on you to do x because I've never operated one someone exactly the same as you before only someone with some similarities.
To skilled players, there are big differences between various FPS games in terms of mechanics, although you wouldn't understand that.

So no, I wouldn't want a cardiac surgeon performing neurosurgery on me, thank you.

so no surgeon can be capable of working in more than one field ?

I'll take what has a chance of saving my life thanks i don't care if they normally work in a different field.

Also well done for putting down all the people I've ever played with including forerunners, inheritors, nobles, mythics etc. sure they'll thank you for calling them low skill competition as will all the clans I've run into in matchmaking trying to pubstomp.
Wow. Holy -blam!-. HOLY -blam!-. You actually think rank in Reach is correlated with skill.

no but experience and clear time under the belt helps people with playing the game, people don't normally just pick up the game and become brilliant, like you and halo 3

No need for drugs you just have to be able to open the lid and climb out that nice box.
Huh. They must be some pretty heavy drugs.

Funny any idea not inside the box you see is related to drugs, most unusual, though without the out the box thinking we wouldn't have stuff like the mobile phone.

Forget it man, and get with the countdown. Shake this square world and blast off for Kicksville.

Reach host ranking algorithm: (a*quit_percentage + b*isMexican + c*(1/KDR) + d*hasGuest) * 100
where a > b = d > c

You seem to be the one making presumptions here.

Of course they can. But if Halo were surgery, you would have been barred from practicing medicine as a result of incompetency, so I'm not going to let you try to lend credence to yourself via experience in other "fields".

More to the point, you're postulating that jetpacks are easily counter-able in Halo Reach. I don't care how many games you've played, this is a theory with a specific context and I don't give a damn about anything except evidence within the same context. Go record yourself winning against Onyx jetpackers, then we'll talk.

Lol. I'm better than you at H3.

I can only assume it's Random Gibberish Time.

Sometimes the dissident takes a coffee break, but a cleavage related to the espadrille always makes a truce with a womanly bride! A stalactite is hardly irreconcilable. When the impresario toward a cream puff goes to sleep, a debutante hibernates.

Life is a journey, if you spend all of it with your nose in your map, you may miss some of the best parts.

You've lost 102156451 times in the past day or two.

Just stop.

so because I play halo for fun not super competitive means I'm disqualified from it ?

Ok as long as you pay costs.
First I'll require 12 months training so about $60,000 plus research funding to have for cloning labs and accelerated growth and required learning software to make it so a team of me can take on an Onyx jetpack team.

strange people fail to comprehend things that are alien to them.

I don't know if I should refer this to a psychologist to analyse first or just say you have issues right off the bat.

not bad considering I've only played about 500 games total.

150,000, remember? All your games count because all games are homogeneous!

Wait, wait, wait. I'm sorry, you're going to have to explain this to my simple mind. It's a little too complex for me.

You see, as far as I have managed to comprehend, the point of this argument is that (according to you) jetpackers are easy to counter. Furthermore, you've taken great pains to inform us that our judgements about your stats are incorrect and you're not actually bad.

With that in mind... why would you require 12 months training to defeat some Onyx jetpackers?

All my games might count but the quote I replied to specified this week, I haven't played over 500 games even including others games with week.
So even if all games were homogeneous this week I wouldn't have played 150,000 this exact week as was specified.

Because
1) I'd need a team and to be used to playing with that team
2) I'd have to be bothered to vs all the teams until i could find a bunch of Onyx jetpackers which would mean reaching Onyx league first.
3) I'm actually terrible a video game capture so I'd need to learn to use one of those lol.

Technically its Sprint, followed by Jetpack.

-Halo Nerd 117-

Personally, i'm like the rest of the godforsken reach community, I hate armor lock and, well this probably isnt the same exact as the rest of the community; but, i prefer Sprint because it is just an increase in speed, and it seems to be the most balanced. And it feels like that it should have always been in halo.

  • 11.23.2011 5:07 PM PDT

yes it is.

  • 11.23.2011 5:46 PM PDT

Considering they is a patch coming out i would have to say sprint.... just because when you have the sword on that -blam!-... it becomes truely OP and the double beat down stuff

All of them.

agreed. AA's shouldn't be in Halo period.
