because you always lose?

"Get pooped on."- Everyone at FHS

Most people get annoyed when they're paired up with people 3 times their rank. No use staying in a boring game.

Name's John. I'm a 21-year-old firefighter/EMT from lolhio who doubles as a die-hard Halo fan. I've been enjoying the franchise since 2001. My favorite iteration of Halo would have to be Halo 2 simply because I never got to experience the joy of a full-on Halo: CE LAN.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Oh yeah, and boot Zome.

Quitters gonna quit. No use complaining about it.

People finally realized that quitting has no real penalty, unlike previous Halo games. Yes I know there is a quit ban, but most people don't care about not being able to play for ten minutes.

Exactly. Most play to pass time or for fun. I'm not going to sit through a game with a horrible connection and get frustrated so I'll quit. If you get banned who cares it's only ten minutes, go make a sammich a coffee, take a leak, come back and keep playing.

Your ignorance is retarded OP.

You have no one but yourself and other casuals like you to blame for the "ranking" system Reach has. You cried about not wanting ranks because you couldn't be the highest, you cried about being told you were bad, you cried about being shown you were bad.

Deal with it.

Or should I say

Why are those so many cowards that can't play a simple match anymore? 90% of the time there is ALWAYS a person (sometimes more than one person) that quits at the very beginning of the damn match!

I could understand an absolutely horrible connection (because that's been a big problem since 343i took over)....

I have never really complained about Reach's multiplayer, but this -blam!- is just getting really really -blam!- annoying.

Has anybody else been having the same issues? ;_;

I was the only one who was defending on my team everyone else left(invasion) after the match ended I got a message thanking me for staying in xD I don't like quitters.

  • 11.23.2011 6:05 PM PDT

lol cowards?

more like "this derp Elite Slayer is dumb" or "great I have afk teammates"

quits match.

If I get paired up with afk teammates or bad gametypes / maps I quit. I refuse to stay.

  • 11.23.2011 6:06 PM PDT

Everyone look at me! I got the gravity hammer! You shall worship me as if I were a god!(shot fired, kills me, everyone goes back to fighting each other.)

Here are the reasons(that I can think of) why someone would quit: 1. They are having cannection issues 2. There power went out 3. They have a life and have something to do 4. Enough people on their team quit that they would most likely lose, or they think that they wolud lose 5. They don't like the map 6. The other team has a lot of high rankers so they think that they are going to lose
Only reasons 5 and 6(maybe even 4) are the ones to complain about

Yes I have had the same issues and have a 20 page hot topic on quitting: http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=60858710&p ostRepeater1-p=1

Ive also posted it on Halo Waypoint forums hoping 343 will do something. Quitters are ruining this game.

Just making sure there is still a voice to fight against the -blam!-s who literally ruined this game with their -blam!- whining about people quitting on them.

You know the quit ban is the reason why Reach is so -blam!- stupid right?
lolno

inb4retardedit

EDIT: Called it.

LOL I died laughing. Well done sir, well done.

OT: Quit ban needs to be harsher. 2 quits, no matter what it is, you're on the -blam!- list. That's it. No questions. Bad connections, rage quits, or "casual quits" (you know, those quits that people tell you, "I wasn't rage quitting, because I wasn't raging, I was tired/cooking/eating/banging my girlfriend (lying aholes))

2 games out, you're done. Period.

Turn on, Tune in, Drop out

GT is fat aggre55ion

there are some times when you need to quit a game. I agree that when you start playing a game in MM you should set aside the time to play. but stuff can come up and you need to leave the game.

I think the idea of entering a game in progress will help us out a lot with quitters. either way something needs to change.

I know when I start to play MM, I make sure I won't have distractions as best I can.

  • 11.23.2011 7:00 PM PDT

People shouldn't quit, if they want a higher rank stay in the game. You can get credits for just participating legitly. If they don't like the game, why play it right ?. If you dislike the game, get rid of it, there are hundreds of other games to play out there.

Harshening the quit ban is only 1/3rd of the solution. As posted in my thread.
Posted by: You Were Warned
Naive logic. Making the quit ban harsher would only provoke even more abuse of the ban and just encourage ban evasions even more, it'd only make things worse.

Join in progress can work also. We could have solved this without banning anyone, Bungie was just too lazy and incompetent.

That wouldn't be good. You could end up joining a game that's about to end.

...So? It happens all the time is CoD, and I can say that one of the reason's they're on top isn't because they have to stop and cry about people leaving their game every two minutes...

So ... this game were you quit scoreless ... or this were you quit once you are loosing ... these are both just fine in your book???

Yet to find one of these 'cry moar, people quit' threads where the supporters of harsher bans have never quit themselves.

Thats the problem right there.

Pwnt.
