Someone said they think that system link might be one person per xbox. I am hoping surely not. I try not to worry too much about assupmtion but I have seen such a trend of this in other games, Splinter Cell PT, Ghost Recon I think and so on. If they took out the system link with multiple people per xbox it would kill the game. I promise people would continue playing Halo 1 at parties. What makes the game so fun is getting 10, 12, 16 people together and going at it at someone's house. I would think Bungie would know this and I doubt it's a problem. Like I said, if it wasn't for the current trend towards games doing one player per box I wouldn't worry about it.

I 100% agree. They would never make it 1 person per xbox cause they know that some people cant afford or dont have highspeed connection in there area and they also know how fun it is to have a bunch of people over at a lan party. Well at least i hope they know that haha. I seriously would be really dissapointed if they didnt allow the 4 people per xbox on MP it would take so much away from a great game to be.

4 way split screen is the best, but the ability to have 16 xboxes all with there own full screen would be a nice option to have also.....I say 16 people no matter how you do it..

I agree. It would be great if they built on what is already there. The game should have all the abilities the first did and then more. I hope Bungie realizes this. Xbox live is gerat and I know it brings M$ more money but stay true to what got Halo 1 so big in the first place.

I think that is already an option. At E3 they are playing system link with 10 xboxs.

There will definitely be 4 player split screen for system link.

I'm fairly certain that split screen AND system link will be supported, as Bungie knows it's one of the things that made Halo popular with the fans.
My certainty does nothing for the people I used to play Halo with last year who claim that Halo 2 "couldn't possibly" run on a single Xbox in split screen mode MP.
The only game I've heard that has MP that's being released later this year and won't support split screen is Doom 3.
So I'm hopeful for Halo 2.

Im not saying I have 16 TV, but I live in the dorms at school and all the Xboxes connect over the same LAN so we would have no problem getting a 16 person 16 tv game.....I just cant wait.
