Hey DecepticonCobra,
Hey Juan.
great job at ignoring completely the point of that example, which was to represent how those who like Noble Team always using the (pathetic) excuse to bring Master Chief into the discussion, proving that they don't know anything about the Halo Universe by saying that he has no personality.
He really doesn't though. The only time I've ever felt he was true;y human was when he met Parisa.
Again, this coming from a guy who's favorite character is a great leader! A great leader who, despite being in a Pelican, couldn't warn his squad in time about the Scarab that was in front of them. You know, I would do exactly the same if he was my favorite character.
Do I detect a hint of growing nerdrage tinged with sarcasm in an attempt to mask said nerdrage? I think so. But yes, I do like Carter. As for not warning them, he did.
"Noble! You got a...situation."
What comes up then? The Scarab.
But I'm sure Chief is a far better leader. Remember when Chief rescued the Installation 04 survivors, which only initially amounted to him, Cortana, Locklear, Haverson, Johnson and Polaski, and immediately wanted to continue Operation: RED FLAG with just them? Good thing he was overruled, they would've all died.
Irrelevant, I'm still pointing out how pathetic is that you guys bring Master Chief's character into that discussion. Unless, of course, you don't know how to properly quote. It's kinda of tricky, you know.
Nope, I seem to get it quite fine. Have a mess up every know and then, but everyone does. But still, Chief lacks character development unless you bring in the books. Unless one liners are a testament to a good character.
And he didn't do a great job in that post, it was just some random interpretation of Noble Team constantly removing their helmets, which was out of character for a Spartan soldier, especially in dangerous areas like New Alexandria. You see, that's why people love when games and movies are open to interpretation, there is no real answer, so in their lives, their opinion is the only possible answer, IT MAKES THEM FEEL INTELLIGENT. Too bad that Halo: Reach isn't open to interpretation, much less when there are novels and games that show perfectly how a soldier should behave.
Because everyone in Halo followed the rules all the time. Was it out of character? I can see why it is. That said, perhaps they thought they had a secure position. War is uncertain.
In this case, everyone just saw a wall of text, it said something good about Noble Team, let's be lazy and just say he did a great job. Brilliant!
A wall of text you never argued against I might add. If it was so terrible, why didn't you say so? Throwing that out there.
Although that could explain why she always killed me while driving in the second mission. Was this done on purpose? And they are Spartans for God's sake, why would she fear that they consider her useless? Was this ever brought into the game? NO! Not even a trivial comment about how much she sucks at shooting because of that prosthetic arm, nothing.
You just used in-game AI as an argument, LOL.
