Sometimes, I dream about cheese.
HALO 2, followed by ODST. i found HALO 2's campaign the most interesting the series. back during its glory days in 2005 me and my old friend would play the campaign for about hour everyday before school then a session of good old mutiplayer and basketball after school, ah nostalgia.
HALO 3's mutiplayer was good but the campaign was ultimately dissapointing, the only thing i liked about it was the level 'the ark' and the cutscene where arbiter kills the prophet of truth.
HALO C.E's multiplayer is easily awesome thanks to blood gulch and it's engine (i miss how the ghost will hover of anything parrellell to its underside, not just the ground so you can do all those tricks by ramming into rocks and other vehicles)
HALO Reaches campaign was... meh, not something i found worth replaying more then twice. the multiplayer was good but a major problem IMO was its horrible maps (especially reflection) could have done a better job with hemmorhage.
at least 343i have picked the game a bit by remaking the all time favourite headlong.
other things im fond of in HALO 2 was its badass looking elites, spectacular maps/campaign locations, amazing soundtrack and interesting quotes/lines in cutscens or in game.
