Chunky_Lover's Average Joe Interview

Bungie All Star Contest Winner Weeks 6,8 and 12

dmg.

I could say "gratz" like everyone else.

...or I could ask. How in the hell have you been able to stand in these forums for so long? How?

I don't understand it. Sure Private groups are amazing but the mains are so dead with useless threads and now that Bungie has moved on from Halo the Septagon is flooded with the worst and least interesting posts like the threads that flooded the Reach forum at launch.

I've almost restricted all my postings the private groups and The Flood is literally two months behind from Reddit so why bother?

Happy Birthday dmg. You've been a upstanding member of this community and a joy to interact with here. Hope that you stay involved for the next 7 as well.

If, however, your thread quality takes a huge dive then we'll just blame the alcohol.

I think some of the most interesting threads we have had on Bungie.net are alcohol induced.

I stopped drunk posting after I got drunk banned.

I feel like these should happen more often. Too many people reply to spam with spam, creating a massive spam ball that takes up space. People know what they should/shouldn't reply to, so why is the OP banned while everyone else gets off scott free? Not to mention, Replying to a spam thread with 'reported' is just as spammy as the OP. Warnings would be cool.

Looks like your wish was granted OP.

Congrats on 7, here's to another 7!

Well done OP, you got a thread carpeted!

Goodluck on 21, atleast you're allowed to drink everywhere now (:

That's pretty cool.

But seriously. Pretty weird, boys and girls. I remember when i posted an insanely embarrassing 4 year birthday thread completely kissing this communities butt and saying it was the best thing that had ever happened to me.

Oh, was I supposed to make one of those? BRB

If your happy that you spent 7 years with Bungie, then congratulations. I know I would.

Sorry for posting 1 day, 5 hours and 23 minutes early. I will not have an internet connection on my Bnet birthday. Today, however, is my 21st birthday. I see my birthday and my Bnet birthday as one in the same, as they're so close together.

Also, Ken, Refer to Number 6. I admit to being hard on you sometimes, but lol. I can't tell if you're trolling half the time or if you just don't understand anything that's happening... anywhere.

Naw dud I am just joking, happy 7 years and 21st Birthday. It makes you wonder what this site will look like 7 years from now. It seems to change so fast.
I suddenly feel like a colossal newblam, with my August '09 join date, and posts only beginning seriously since early '10.

I miss the old days when chapters were where it was at. Nowadays they're just very small communities for people to ignore most of the rules. Back then, majority of this site was about the chapters and most everything that came out of Bungie did so through the chapters.

Times change though. I've been here since around 2001 (2004 on this account) so I've watched the website go through hundreds of changes, and seen thousands of users come and go.

Very few of us original's are left now, so I raise a glass to you DMG, for another 7 years.
