I consider myself an above average sniper, but man X is a machine.

Go ahead and get on the ledge, I'll just be filling your faces with buckshot and meleeing you in the back. :P

Anyways, here are a few clips of my awesome pwning skills yesterday.

OK Me15ter got banned for quoting someone who posted a link to an adult site. That is one of the big no-nos and even though he wasn't the original poster he is still responsible for the content of his post.

Banned like forever, or for a week or 2 or what?

It seems unfair. If he quotes a post with an "adult" link perhaps he assumed it passed the Bungie censors. Or he didn't check the link and was referencing something else in the quoted post.

It's really Bungie that's responsible for the content of it's website. Can't they figure out a way to filter links?

He didn't click the link, because he's cautious. I think he let a mod know and that mod deleted the first post quickly. Later another mod came in and saw just his post with the link in it and banned him. Linking to adult content is a big no-no so it carries a week-long ban.

Even though he was quoting someone else he is still ultimately responsible for the content of his posts. He should have known better then to quote the link which he agrees with. But it would be nice if he just got the thread deleted or edited with a warning. The mod was probably following guidelines put down by Bungie.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

For what it's worth, I played early yesterday, teams were completely uneven. I asked nicely for someone to switch. Nobody could be bothered to even the teams up. I asked over and over again, nothing.

Frankly I was very dissapointed with the server. Usually people playing on the Bungie CTF servers are very good about recognizing unfair teams and fixing the problem.

I must have asked for 5 minutes straight on the Maw server and was ignored. Pretty sad. Oh well...

After asking repeatedly, feel free to kick the best player on the stronger side. When he re-jions he will have switched to the weak -side or he won't come back. I've only had to do it once but it succeeded in evening the teams. And also let the players know I mean business.
