Subject: What Should I Focus on in TS?

"What are we holding on to, Sam?"
"That there's some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for."

I finally reached my 47, and I feel like I'm getting close to reaching my 50 in the next few weeks. However,I also have to win very consistently or I won't go anywhere. I feel that my slaying skill is improved, I know all the maps/callouts fine, and my awareness is good. I really want to reach this 50 soon, though, without many more losses. What should I do in the final few points before 50? Should I only run TS with a teammate? I've only been playing on my own lately, and I seem to be playing better than I do with teammates. How should I warm up and prepare for the games, how many should I play, when should I stop? I would prefer not to make any mistakes so that I can reach that 50 as soon as possible.

I <3 Halo 2 and Trombones ^.^

If you run with a teammate you'll probably win more.
Warm up with a custom game or in social slayer.
I think we're still friends on XBL, and if you want when you see me on send me a game invite and i'd be more than glad to help you out.

I would run with a team of three, rather than a team of four. A team of four will likely pair you up with other teams of four, therefor increases the risks of losing. A team of three will likely pair you up with other teams of three, so therefor the risks of winning are increased.

Just pray to God that your randoms are actually good!

I'm not making excuses. I never claimed to be good. I have never played any colonel better than me though.

Don't post if you have no idea what you're talking about. If I remember correctly you're only a Staff Captain so no one who is looking for ranked advice wants to hear from you.

Search twos if you want a 50. Also if you're in a team of 3 you'll only match a team of 3, same goes with a team of 4. And anyway you wouldn't find a game searching 4s now, maybe in 3s.

Ok, thanks! Would you say that it's at all likely that I can get my 50 searching alone, or is 2s the only chance?

You can get your 50 alone, but it is a lot harder that way.
