Subject: The Betrayal System: A Conspiracy?

In Soviet Russia you pilot many flying vehicles while Nikolai embarks on crazy journey of revenge filled with movie references....

So i've been betrayed about 13 or so times today, many times multiple in one game. Legitimately every douchenogging time it was an accident (about half) I got the option to boot my betrayer on the first betrayal. And because i'm an understanding person I don't boot them. Every lardsacking time it was on purpose, i never got the boot option.

The ONE time I betrayed somebody all day, I get booted.

Where am I going with this? Glad you didn't ask 'cause i'm telling you anyway! Obviously the game can detect whether its on purpose or not. It's so obvious to me i'm mad I didn't see it before. The game can tell your intent because throughout the last ten years or so the developers have been able to tell in which scenarios would a betrayal be on purpose or not.

They know. And they're trolling us! It makes so much sense! Whenever an enemy betrays you on purpose, you can't boot them. But the one time you betray somebody on purpose (or accident for that matter) you get booted. Every time.

But how do they know which ones to target?

Simple: Do you have a Bungie account? If the answer is yes then you've been affected. You will never get to kick an enemy who betrays you on purpose. If they've got the malicious intent, you're screwed.

Just a friendly warning to the community :D

Agree 100%.
It's like he's saying what we're all thinking.

Ever wonder what's up there?

Everytime I get booted from a game, I go into Living Dead and betray the -blam!- out of my teammates.

Fair play.

I'm kinda like you, I don't boot unless it's obviously on purpose. But some people should learn to think before they boot.
