I guess by "through Sunday" he meant that the sale would end this morning. I figured he meant that they would end tonight.

And, Black Friday came early this year. You can buy from the Bungie Store right now, and enjoy a 20% discount - effective immediately. Sale prices last through Sunday.

Sorry if there seemed to be hidden messages in my grammar. Such was not the intention. I did not mean to dupe, flim-flam, or hornswaggle any of you.

For the puposes of future clarification, please allow me to explain how the word "through" works... When I indicate a condition (such as a sale) that is in effect "through" something, my meaning is that said condition would only remain active while we are still within the confines of that specific frame.

Sorry if this is still complicated. We are dealing in abstract concepts. Allow me employ a metaphor to break down the barrier that separates us from a state of understanding.

Let's say that you and I are on a cross-country roadtrip. Maybe we are headed for PAX East. Maybe we just find ourselves fed up and want to get away from it all. Anyway... One requirement of the journey is that you agree to let me poke you in the eye as we drive through the state of South Dakota. Why I would want to do that is irrelevant. This is a mere contrivance to aid us in our quest for truth.

Now, as we drive through that endlessly wide state, you will be wondering why you agreed to this. You would be desperate to cross that domestic border. If my assualt on your ocular receptor continued as we entered the great state of Minnesota, my persistance would be met with enormous protest.

"DeeJ!", you would scream... "We made it through South Dakota. That was the deal. Now, STOP!"

That was basically what I meant when I said that sale prices would last through Sunday. If you think of Monday in the same terms as Minnesota, the sale is over. Next time, I will be more precise, like "This sale is completely, totally, and beyond a shadow of a doubt over at midnight on blah, blah, blah..."

Thank you for reading this. Tune in next week, when I hold a fireside chat about the meaning of the word "skyrocket". In the meantime, the Bungie Store is still open for business.

Love, DeeJ.

he (ctjl96) posted this yesterday, while he was still in South Dakota.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

It was my fault for waiting do long. I had credit card issues through amazon/still decideding what to buy also.

I was happy though I got the backpack, Bungit Track jacket, and money clip all on sale.

I misinterpreted the through Sunday, I thought Deej meant up to Sunday night/monday morning the sale would end.

But oddly mid-day the prices dropped to Friday levels.

Oh.... ok, wait. No, what? I'm more confused now, cause you say the sale is done Monday (Today), and it is, but it also stopped yesturday for a while, then came back on, now is gone again, and now the BungieStore homepage says;
"CyberMondaySwagSale
20% Off Everything!"

It is Monday, and I see no sale prices. I see no with my eye, maybe my eyes are messed up, would you like to poke them, perhaps that will allow me to see better, you seem to like eyes and the poking of them, go ahead. Hmmm...

Nah!
I did feel like he was attempting to be very nice to a very stupid 6 year old while he was explaining it.

This makes sense because spending $100 on a backpack is exactly as smart as letting you poke my eye repeatedly.
