These hackers who mod their weapons and character traits is getting to the point to where I rage quit. For example I just rage quited grifball cause i'm a red and a blue bomb carrier is heading towards the goal, I clearly killed him just before he got to the plate, the bomb he drops is like "nope, i'll just go off anyway" Bomb armed, bomb detonated, game over. These modders are getting out of hand, like one time in zombies, were playing on infection instead of alpha zombies. I'm a zombie and I do a barrel roll to get behind and kill a human and the animation is almost over, i'm now behind him and he shoots forward obviously missing. I DIE!!! and it seems bungie or 343 or whoever's in charge of monitoring game play isn't doing their job. This has happened in nearly EVERY SINGLE GAME in matchmaking. I mean you got to admit, really?

Inheritor #156 :p

lol you're probably a 12 year old kid who thinks every one is "hacking" because a glitch happens in a game.

Pioneer and Enthusiast for Halo 3.

Lets say your right. Why would he hack grifball? Honestly, if I had any piece of mind, I'd hack MLG, Team Snipes and SWAT. THOSE are the playlists where mostly everything matters. Grifball? Thats a joke... And not just to hack either.

Not neccesarily. Many forum topics end up having something to do with cheaters.

A) You believe that zero people are better than you; thus everyone you beat is a noob and everyone that beats you is a cheating noob.

B) You believe that lag = hacking. Chances are that you have never played against a single modder in Reach ever that does not stop you from being derp.

C) Troll.

There is an inherent lag I'm ever game as a result of the players connection speed, hosts, and communication between host and server. Imagine eight people, each a thousand miles apart, sending data to the server, server sends it back with a packet update, your console renders the feed, and you react. It's only hundreds of seconds between console, host, and server communications, but its enough to cause a perceived differential between how how the server tells the host, tells your console how to render the animation. I'll bet you a hundred dollars that on the other players console, he was was looking right at you when he fired. Its not cheating, its lag. In fact, the slowest component of the game is the player. We react in tenths of a second, while the console is tens of times quicker. Look up gaming lag on wiki, they can explain far better than I.

But if you want to see actual cheaters, play team slayer on weekends early in the morning against two or more forerunners. You'll see grenade sticks that do nothing, one shot dmr kills, and players taking three and four pummels before they die.

I would show a very strange thing I had happen where I faced a team who mysteriously all acquired swords and sniper rifles within 30 seconds of the game start in a game of power slayer. But my 5 year old 360 has just decided to RROD on me so I can't lol

Please, never talk about networking again.

And op, it's lag, not "hacking". Learn the difference.
