its CONTROLLERS, not contrALERS. and what do you need the controllers for? you need to be more specific.

but since this is the Maw forums, im assuming youre talking about HaloPC. you need to d/l some drivers for it to work, but ask some other Maw guys. i personally dont know...

Yes, the Xbox 360 wired controller can work with any Windows XP-based computer with Service Pack 1 or 2 installed. Just download the drivers for it. It can work with basically any game that supports gamepads, including Halo PC. I have a 360 wired controller and it works fine on my computer, though I always use the superior mouse and keyboard. Just do some calibration and you'll love it. But in all seriousness, if you plan to play Halo PC's multiplayer, use the keyboard and mouse.

And please, work on your typing.

Right.

Other options include rewiring a controller to work with a PC...it's not that hard, all you need is a wire stripper, a solder/some way to tie the wires together, and a male-end USB connector. That and a driver you simply download from a source like Halomaps.org or something.

But for all practical purposes, a mouse and keyboard is the better option. Unless you're asking for serious ownage...

i need help too... i got a super joy box 13 that lets me hook up a GameCube controller to the USB, but i downloaded the driver and the same thing that happened BEFORE i downloaded the driver happens... when i activate the controller it:

A.automatically scrolls through the menus unexpectedly in any direction
B.confuses the shoulder buttons for the vertical axis

so its almost IMPOSSIBLE to use it in halo... can someone give me advice???
