I've played countless games with a vast age range of players, from tweens & teens to people approaching the day they can collect Social Security. And the vast majority of people who teabag without provocation is overwhelmingly those under 30 and tend to be those who are also the "worst" players - people who betray over vehicles and power weapons, who scream into their headsets about every little thing that goes wrong (if they even have one) and usually end up with a high amount of kills and a nearly identical amount of deaths.
When I play with people of a more adult/mature nature, you rarely if ever see teabagging - even in retaliation for someone who does it to them. Typically they will blow it off or make a comment over the headset, then target revenge against this person time and again making their life a living nightmare for the rest of the game. A few might teabag them with only a few seconds left in a game as a final "in your face" for having punished them over and over again for their impudence, but it's still rare.
The act of teabagging may be a tradition - but it's one that is rooted in childish behaviour and most always started by someone who has no business doing it.
