"We knew the world would not be the same.
A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent.
I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita.
Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says,
'Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds...'
I suppose we all thought that one way or another."

When people use it in a condescending manner it bugs me, but clearly that's what it means.

So...randoms, because they are random people I don't know.
I don't use the term to make myself feel superior, if that's what you mean. I don't look down on the random people I come across in matchmaking because they are "randoms".
I mean sure, when you go with a group like say, a clan, your chances are crushing the other team are up pretty high just because you know who you're playing with on your team and you've got some sort of strategy. The other team on the other hand, none of them know each other or their playing styles so there is that disadvantage.
