I agree with Goat. Comparing Reach to halo 3 in any way is an insult to Halo 3. The games are completely different as day and night. The only thing that means anything is what Halo in general requires--communication, intuition, teamshooting--all that good stuff. The physical stats, however, are completely irrelevant. Why bring up H2 stats when comparing players between H2 and H3? The games are different.
You're missing the point, kid.
I've bolded the part where you were so close to being right. Yes it's just the "good stuff", as you so succinctly put it, that matters but the physical stats are directly correlated to your understanding of the "good stuff" and, as such, can't be dismissed.
Anyone who knows anything about Halo would admit that the requirement to understand the "good stuff" in order to succeed has been seriously watered down in Reach in nearly every single playlist and, as such, the physical stats acquired in the later game aren't to be viewed in the same light (or given the same weight) as the stats from previous Halos.
