My thoughts"

Jetpack- only in BTB
Sprint
Evade- only if they add the rolling effect in first person
Hologram
Dropshield- keep it's properties. It can easily be blown away by sniper or some vehicle.
Active Camo- Camo will only last for 20 seconds if your weilding a sniper.

Armor Lock- Only as a pick up or in BTB. Must be nerfed so that the EMP will not activate unless user is in AL for at least 1/4 it's full duration and AL user will be immobile for 2 seconds if the user leaves AL early (gets out before he even uses 1/2 its duration) This will keep AL's ability for the user to be immune to explosions, nukes, ect. while preventing the user from AL popping, spamming, or abusing AL in any other way that it was not meant to be used for.

Sprint. Thrust Pack. Slide. These are 3 abilities that every player has off spawn, no loadouts.

Sprint functions as it did it Reach.

Crouching while Sprinting will cause your Spartan to Slide a short distance.

Thrust pack would give a short burst off upward acceleration after jumping. Pressing A jumps, pressing A while in the air activates a quick burst of Thrust Pack.

All 3 of these abilities drain the same meter. Sprinting would drain it gradually, a Slide is one quarter of the meter and a Thrust Jump is half the meter.
This is also good. However, the thrust pack will also act like a jetpack in space.

You can never succeed if you never try.

Sprint and Evade are okay as long as everyone has them ( I think everyone should auto-start with them, THEN select an armor ability because Sprint is nowhere near as useful as Armor Lock or Jetpack for example)

Not even sprint. Halo succeeded with out armor abilities before, it can do it again.

you cannot compare Halo 3 to Reach, Reach is not a game, its a disc in a plastic green case called pure fail.

Exactly. Controlled environments built specifically for Jetpack. This concept works well for environments with gravity and environments without gravity. In gravity the thrust pack is essentially a double jump. In space the thrust pack is a Reach Jetpack.

Nuke them all period! Powerups should only be pickups and there is no reason to sprint in Halo.

2 things I would like to see return:
Flag Running
Less Weapons with more emphasis on faster kill times.(no bloom)
