I didn't even watch but I'm guessing Master Chief for $100.

Hey, uh, if you like vs threads, then check out this little group right here, if you have the time. It's pretty fun, just hop right in.

I hope he was killed the instant he landed.

To be honest, even though he is dead (I KNOW) I would like to see Noble Six, (EVEN THOUGH HE DIED! Don't start saying ZOMG NEWB HE DEAD!" he was probably my favourite Halo character in the whole series. Also, at the end of the game when Hasley starts speaking and it shows you Noble Six's helmet, look at the date, "7 July 2589", the Halo trilogy was set in 2550. :O. Maybe some -blam!- went down and something happened.

He says that there is at least one of noble team that could have survived. if they ever decide to bring someone from noble team back, I hope it will be Jorge. But they will most likely leave them dead, and dont make much out of it, And to ITz ProBR MDK, Noble 6 is dead, and obviesly some blam happened between 2552 and 2589

  • 11.29.2011 2:57 PM PDT

of course something happenend the planet got glassed the enviroment changed and stuff but i agree 6 is best

actually, if you watch the end cutscene again, you never see any energy swords or daggers make contact, so there is a very, very, very, very slim chance that somehow Noble 6 survived.

My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

This video finalized my decision. I'm getting Frankie's face tattooed on my back.

wow im surprised no one said Jun, he is the only one who survived if anyone paid attention to the story and we wouldnt even need frankie to confirm that for us

Nope, why because I thought Noble Six was one of the best? Now I hated Reach's multiplayer, but I loved the campaign better than any of the others.

like i said, Noble 6 was not actually proven to have been killed. also, the new edition of Fall or Reach has several mini stories, 1 of which involves someone finding the dead body of a spartan referred to as Halsey's S III bodyguard. Pretty sure that's Jun.

That's what I said, The guy that went with Hasley, I just forgot his name :P

Also everyone saying that Six died, (I know I'm gonna get flamed for this), he was one of the best (Apart from Chief) he could of easily gotten out of that, the scene ended before the swords/weapons made contact, and the elites foot was in the way. For all we know he could of somehow got out of that, maybe once Jun had protected Hasley, he went to find the others, and saw Six just about to be killed, maybe he shot the elites.

Anything's possible.

Let the flaming commence.

Noble Six isn't even a character - he doesn't do anything significant, he doesn't say anything significant, and barely partakes in anything worth noting. Hence why Noble Team and Noble 6 were never mentioned in The Fall of Reach or anywhere in Halo lore before the game came out. (Not to mention that Noble 6 is supposed to represent yourself. Are you trying to inflate your ego?)

Noble Team was a poorly constructed set of characters in poorly constructed environment in a poorly constructed campaign in a poorly constructed game.

  • 11.29.2011 3:15 PM PDT

He didn't do anything significant. Are you joking? He brought Cortana to the ship where Chief and everyone was, and then he stayed to protect them while they left without him, if he had went with them, they could of been shot down, and chief could of died. Then none of the Trilogy would of happened.

1 possibility, which could or could not have happened with Jun. ODSTs with sniper rifles could have done the same thing.

I'm not really a fan of that video. Reach's ending (Lone Wolf) was fantastic and there needs to be more games with a gloomy ending. This whole "I need to see the good guys win!" crap is too cliche now.

Whoa, a delivery boy! Triple A quality character right there.

And I'm pretty sure in fictions previous to Reach (it's commonly claimed that Reach breaks the Halo story, as it creates incoherent links) that The Pillar of Autumn wasn't even on Reach at that time, and that Bungie stretched the story to try to make Noble Team seem somewhat significant.

Its just a possibility. And having the good guys win in a war that they've been losing since it started doesn't seem like too much to ask.

When you say "on reach" do you mean the ship landed, or just in Reach's system. Cause it was in the system during the fall, and it was never stated that the Autumn didn't land at some point during the battle.

I'm under the impression that Cortana is piloting the ship the whole time during the book, and that she was about the leave the system right before they received news that Reach was being attacked. There's no way that Cortana had landed the ship, got transported to Halsey's lab, and than transported again all the way back. It just doesn't make sense. In the book, the Pillar of Autumn never even goes land side but stays in orbit.

Bungie stated somewhere (no I don't have a link) that the thing 6 delivers was not the full version of Cortana, but a fragment, with key information on Forerunner tech that the true cortana did not have at the time.
