4sk or 5sk DMR? 4sk or 5sk with sprint or no sprint and movement speed increase?
Personally I prefer 5sk, but that's just me. I've played both settings (not extensively though) and I preferred a few facets of 5sk - for starters you can play 5sk with 90/100 dmg/res so power weapons and grenades require more accurate use, I also felt that it remained somewhat consistent with the rest of Reach. Admittedly that doesn't hold any merit for the competitiveness of the settings, but I do like being able to know that the weapon is still a 5sk across all game modes.
As for 4sk, that weakens power weapon indirectly by empowering every player by default, the even number of shots to kill also makes the perfect teamshot more natural. However I also think that the killtime with a 4sk is just a little too fast for Reach. I would support it more of the rest of the game caught up to it, but regardless of the gravity or speed settings strafing will still have the acceleration and deceleration which make it easier to hit people. At the pro level where everybody is a great shot I don't think it would hold up particularly well.
Overall I don't think it's as big of an issue as it's made out to be. The bigger issues such as Sprint and Bloom are already being experimented with, so I think that 4sk vs 5sk should be decided by analysing professional gameplay (not nevessarily listening to the pros opinions).
